Coastline Realty Vacation Rentals

Coastline Realty Vacation Rentals's guest rating of 4.63 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

The pros: - Fantastic layout with two living and kitchen spaces - Well stocked kitchens with plenty of pots/pans/plates and cups and silverware - Two washer and dryers was awesome The cons: - Not well maintained - Mildew and mold all over screened in porch rendering it useless - None of the showers drained - like the cleaning people would have been unable to clean them without water backing up so it was a known and ignored situation - There were full ant traps EVERYWHERE but they denied knowing about the problem - Ants they were in tooth brushes the CPAP machine the wall was moving - The exterminator they sent the first time - only did the outdoor stairs in the back of the house - by his own admission. Nothing else - They asked us to vacate the house for four hours to allow exterminator to come back - Exterminator did not actually fix the problem - just sprayed the problem spots - the outdoor shower is infested - never heard from them after the exterminator left to confirm

We had a wonderful stay at Hyacinth with our family group of 12!! We had 4 boys ages 9-13 and they loved the front row convenience to the beach and lived in the water most days only to retreat to the hot tub later in the day. The house had plenty of sleeping spaces, lots of dishes, plates, etc as well as pots and pans. It had an induction stove and one night while using I the actual wall plug started to melt so we tripped the breaker to avoid a fire and finished cooking our meal on The grill we brought with us as well as using the instant pot that was there. Coastline was very quick about getting someone out first thing the next morning to replace it and we had the stove back again. We also had to call to have them treat the hot tub but only added chlorine and washed out the filter and it really needed to be balanced as the water was murky our entire stay! There was also an issue with mold from condensation in the bathrooms which they came out and wiped with bleach

We had an issue with the electricity in the Master Bedroom. To their credit, they did send someone out and later an electrician to take care of the problem. An exterior light outside of the bedroom was just hanging there by the wires. The interior was nice. The exterior (wood) needs some updating. Pool and hot tub were sufficient. We were told there was no grill, but when we arrived we found there was one. However, it was left out uncovered on the ocean side of the carport and was too gross to consider using. We did spot a few large cockroaches late in the week. Hey, it is Oceanfront!

The beach access was great, just right across the street. The house was great, the fenced in yard was perfect for our dogs and easy access for them to exit and enter from the upstairs and downstairs porches. 2 king sized bedrooms were nice/ spacious. Downstairs bedrooms were tight the beds just fit; perfect for 1 maybe 2. The bunk beds are really for kids - will fit 2 smallish young adults. The kitchen was great it had everything all new-ish appliances, everything for all your cooking needs + some. There is no large stockpot if you are into making shrimp/crab boils. There is nothing left from past renters nothing the place is wiped clean! If you bring your dogs and they are shedders - there is a broom and that's it. There is a clunky vacuum cleaner but the bag was full and no other bags. If you have a vacuum cleaner for your dog hair I would recommend bringing it. I wish I did. I love my dogs but hate the dog hair. I'd rent again but we will have more people next year.

Would have been nice to have had a gas grill instead of the small charcoal one. The WiFi was not good. Loved being on the ocean front and the convenience of the elevator. I thought it was pricey but it was peak season.

The condo was nice and looked exactly like the photos. I would suggest getting new mattresses for the beds as the current ones are really uncomfortable. I would also suggest providing a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, dish detergent and dishwasher pods. We got there any only one bathroom has toilet paper and there were no paper towels. Also, the ice maker didn’t work and it took a few days for someone to come out and fix it.

The location is great. Very quiet, private, and peaceful. Property was as described and clean and would stay again! Cons: You have to stop and get keys AND return them at realty office Highly Recommend installing keyless entry and leave the welcome packet. the pet deposit fee is the highest ive ever paid on any booking app. Perhaps make some of that refundable after the departure. Kids are worse than trained pets. PACK or bring every item you need for a household to run. hand soap, Salt and Pepper, dish pods, paper towels, Trash bags, TP, etc. The 1st Property in all the traveling I do that didn't have basic starter items. An almost empty TP rolls in the 3 bathrooms not even a back up was provided. you also have to make the beds yourself. A delivery service drops towels, sheets, limited pillow cases, limited wash clothes, and 2 dish towels. so make sure you also pack laundry detergent! I believe most of that is listed on the booking, but i read reviews more!
