Coastal Vacation Resorts at Holden Beach

“The house itself was beautiful…very comfortable furnishings & we felt right at home. Our only issue was that the elevator wasn’t working, which was a major necessity for us. Having an elderly mother with mobility issues, is was a challenge & she couldn’t come & go like she wanted due to her difficulty navigating stairs. The hosts were responsive & said someone would be out to fix it but after hearing that for three days, we were informed that it would not be repaired during our stay. While I understand that amenities are not guaranteed, it would have been nice to know ahead of time. Overall though we did enjoy our stay.”

“Overall, a great house, it does seem like cleaning of the floors wasn’t really done because there was sand on the floors when we arrived. I know it’s the beach, but it seemed like maybe the floors were skipped. For 5k, I would expect some provision of paper products and hand soap that wasn’t watered down. Good amount of roaches in the house, again, I know it’s the beach, but there were a good amount, alive and dead. Otherwise, the house is nice with a great view of the ocean, golden beach is always great. For a rental, you won’t be disappointed.”
