Coastal Realty Vacations
4.65Visit website
Coastal Realty Vacations's guest rating of 4.65 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“The place is really nice. It doesn’t clearly say that it doesn’t have an elevator.”airbnb

“Great location. They need to hire a better cleaning crew. Baseboards were dirty, dressers where the TV is was dusty. Mold on shower liner, the trim in front of the shower needs replaced- looks moldy.”airbnb

“The location of this condo was excellent, with easy beach access directly across the street. The condo itself was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay overall. Contrary to some previous reviews, we did not hear traffic noise from the nearby highway. The pool area was not heated and remained in the shade most of the day. Making it too cold to utilize all day. However, there were several issues that affected our experience. We were allowed to check in 30 minutes early, but were asked to pay an additional $50 for that convenience. After I declined that did let me with no charge. Seven days after checkout, our security deposit still has not been released. We were also charged $100 for a few items that were accidentally left in the refrigerator, which seemed excessive. While the condo was nice, it is showing its age and could benefit from some updates. A deep cleaning would also improve the overall condition and guest experience.”airbnb

“Not worth what we paid. Terrible view, only one elevator was available for use so we had to take the stairs a lot (and I’m pregnant) not very much supplies in kitchen for eating. Smoke alarm kept going off whenever we cooked for no reason.”airbnb

“I wish I could leave negative stars. This place is a DUMP. The room itself was tiny, smelt terrible (mildew), and looked dirty. Sugar beach looks like a horror movie. Exposed pipes, exposed wiring, and rust. Nothing was up to code. We got there walked into the room and left. We knew we couldn’t stay there. We had to rent a different airbnb. Costal Beach Realty was 0 help. They were inconsiderate and told us we could not get any sort of refund because there was “not enough notice”. The manager Brittany was possibly the worst host i’ve ever encountered. PLEASE save yourself the trouble and don’t be fooled by this listing.”airbnb

“The AC did not work (it would only go down to 68 but stayed consistent at 74-75), there was only one small tabletop fan, the lamps were very small and no overhead lights (except the kitchen and dining room), the sink and dishwasher would not drain, we plunged it ourselves. A car alarm went off all night long, security did not take care of it. The furniture was very oversized and it was difficult to maneuver with luggage. The master bedroom door jam was broken. The unit was not clean, it was wiped down but not clean. I washed the dishes before using them. The sheets were scratchy and did not stay on the mattress corners. The overall building/ hallways were loud when others were coming and going. The closet with the beach toys was so full you could not open the door. The location to the beach was nice but the location from town was farther than expected. Parking was convenient. The walkway to the beach was very nice. A good selection of games/books. Seems like no maintenance is done”airbnb

“Needs updating, maintenance and better cleaning. Not all kitchen gadgets as promised. Very poor A/C. Rusty toilet paper holder and shower curtain rod. Maintenance came and removed broken screen door instead of fixing it. Dryer vent flew on floor at first use. During our stay the outside of building was being painted. Sections of molding on balconies were peeling off and being painted without repair or replacement. Outdoor planters were cracked with dead plants. Location and beach access are about the only plus.”airbnb

“This condo had very worn and dated furniture, stains on the couch, dirty dishes in the cupboard. None of the bathtubs had a plug so they only function as a shower, which was not good if you have little children. There were no blinds on the windows only drapes, which were not blackout curtains so when sleeping at night , there was a lot of light that came through the window. I also did not like the fact that I had to pay $40 for a parking pass to park at the condo that I paid to rent. On a positive note the beds were comfortable and it is beach side, so no roads to cross to get to the beach, but you do not have a beach view which we were fine with. It is within walking distance of lots of restaurants in the hangout.”airbnb

“We recently stayed at this condo in Orange Beach during a quick stop for a college visit, and while there were a few positives, the overall experience was frustrating. Upon arrival, there were no parking passes in the unit as promised. Thankfully, one was dropped off the next morning and we didn’t run into any issues overnight, but it wasn’t a great start. One of the main reasons we chose a condo over a hotel was to do laundry during our short stay. Unfortunately, the washer did not work properly—it stopped after the wash cycle and never rinsed, drained, or spun. We immediately contacted the owner and were told no technician could come until Monday. Meanwhile, our clothes were stuck in dirty water. The initial solution offered was to have someone shop-vac the washer or for us to use a washer/dryer at a completely different property. This required us to bag up wet clothes in trash bags and walk to another condo, which was difficult to access and took time away from our plans. W”airbnb
