Manager Review

Coastal Properties

Coastal Properties's guest rating of 4.68 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

We felt there were very unacceptable items that stood out. Rusted balcony chairs, broken trash can, damaged microwave and smoking toaster. All of which should have been replaced. I also felt her response to any of this not up to par. Very disappointed in this but on the positive side we slept well and shower was good!

Location was good. Bathroom needs updating. Only 2 jets work in the jacuzzi. Whole place could use a fresh coat of paint. Were not made aware of construction directly beside the hotel and on the pier directly in front, which made in difficult to sleep in. Not to mention the bed is 2 twins pushed together, which made it to where you fall in the crack between the beds during the night. As well as the beds were uncomfortable. Overall it is okay but I definitely don’t see myself staying here again.

The unit was not as expected. Was much smaller. Smelled like a motel. And the equipment and furniture were worn and outdated. Definitely needs some attention and remodeling

While Gosia and her team was very quick to respond to our questions, the Landmark resort we stayed at was not worth the money and time spent. The building was in the middle of construction. The pools indoor were barely blocked off by plastic which got into the open pools and left plaster, dust, and grime floating in the water. The pools were not clean. At one point we were in the hot tub and a roach jumped into the water. Several more were seen leaving a nest directly next to the indoor hot tub. When we informed the employees they didn’t even know which pools were open and said they would clean it up, but did not, the dead roach was left in the swimming area. One employee was questioning why we were using the elevator instead of the stairs on our vacation, not considering physical limitations. The only positive is there is direct access to the beach from the resort, and the pools would be cool if they were all open and properly/consistently maintained. Overall we were very disappointed

I did not have a good experience during my stay. Bathroom has rust toilet wasn’t clean (took photos) sofa needs to be updated it’s smushed one seater chair has stains There was a strong odor throughout the home, especially in the kitchen and living room, from the moment I arrived. I reported it on the first day, and although someone came the second day and confirmed the smell, nothing was done to resolve the issue. The odor was so strong that I had to stay out for most of my visit. Unfortunately, this made my stay very uncomfortable and disappointing. I reached out to host nothing was done they continue to send me a message that’s auto and it’s not even responding to the questions I have I will never book again it was Patrica Grand 910 horrible weekend

I had a very disappointing experience with this Airbnb host (Gosia) and would not recommend booking. We arrived on April 7 and immediately noticed a water on the floor. Despite this issue, we were later told on April 10 that we had to vacate the property due to a “leak,” even though maintenance (Coastal Properties) had already told us there was no active leak and that we were safe to stay until checkout on April 12. We were given no real apology, no empathy, and very little communication. I explained that we were 4 hours away from home, but that didn’t seem to matter. The situation was handled very poorly, and we were told to leave without proper support or resolution. To make things worse, this took up the entire day of my daughter’s birthday. We were also told we couldn’t use amenities like the restaurant, laundry, or bars, which was not accurate. When we tried to resolve the issue, the host’s team became unhelpful and rude. Someone named Margaret told us we just needed to leave

Was very disappointed with this booking. We paid an early check in fee, which is fine, only to find out that the room wasn’t cleaned properly. There was sand and toys left over from previous guests under the pull out bed. The sheets on the king bed had hair and stains. The toilet wouldn’t flush. We were able to get it to flush once, none after that. We contacted the property team and were told that they wouldn’t be able to get maintenance out until the following afternoon, almost 24 hours later, to have 4 guests in a room with no working toilet. We were told that they would have to set up a delivery for new sheets, with no timeframe on how long that’d take. We were very uncomfortable for the time we spent in the condo. The only good thing about it, was the view. We canceled the reservation, however the property team couldn’t guarantee a refund, it had to be “reviewed”. We were able to get our money back from AirBnB. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. There is no maintenance on site.

This would be a good review except the ceiling has huge areas that are coming apart and drop ceiling matter on the bed closest to the balcony. There was ceiling matter falling on me while I slept. The host had great communication until I brought this to their attention. I brought a dispute to Airbnb and they gave me $30. It is not sufficient considering the pictures they advertise do not match reality when it comes to the ceiling.

So the first day we checked in I noticed the mattress is sagging on both sides where you would sit down. Well the springs were worn down. When you lay on your side you will roll down into the sagged part. Really uncomfortable. I reported it immediately and then maintenance was going to come and inspect the next day. Not sure they came but got a message that they ordered a new mattress. We’ll never got it resolved we were there 4 days. Next I used the kitchen sink and the drain is clogged up. Send a message. Again maintenance will come and fix. That never happened. That was filthy. Next try to use the oven. Not working either. The microwave display is not working properly so you have to guess. So all we got is an apology. Nothing was done in the 4 days we were there. So was a real bad experience. This place needs a lot of maintenance

Too pricey! We used it for what it was. There were a lot of unexpected rules. We were allotted 4/5 towels, but were not permitted to use the laundry area of the condominium. We weren’t allowed to hang our beach towels on the balcony to dry but not allowed to hang them on any furniture. So, with small bathroom, few shower towels to try and reuse and keep dry, and we can’t properly dry beach towels, it was inconvenient. Every time I tried to get towels from desk service, I was told “we are understaffed and I am unable to get you any” or there was no one at the desk. We were not permitted to change the thermostat settings, half of our time it was hot and the other half it was cold out. We weren’t very comfortable. The Murphy bed was pretty beat up and no sheets were on it. The doorway from living room to kitchen, you can’t even close because the fridge stuck out too far. The kitchen sink had a significant leak underneath it. The shower made a horrendous noise if you had warm water running
