Coastal Accommodations
4.75Visit website
Coastal Accommodations's guest rating of 4.75 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“While the communication was great, this place is extremely outdated for the pricing. The overall cleanliness and quality of the residence is subpar. Good layout and perfect size for a couple or a solo traveler. But it doesn’t quite stick the landing. Also found a cockroach in the bedroom floor out in the open. Bed only has two cheap pillows. Dishwasher wasn’t emptied, shelves in kitchen collapsed so pots and pans were everywhere underneath the microwave. Solid tv with good sound and ability to log into different streaming services is nice. Restaurant/bar next door has customers until 2am, loud music and fairly popular spot. With the windows being required to be open for the air conditioning it does make it hard to sleep.”airbnb

“Good location close to the beach. Nice porches & adequate space for 5 people. Loud motorcycle noise on roadway in front of house until 3 AM Saturday night. Cleaning service needs to move furniture to clean especially under tables.”airbnb

“The condo was clean and mostly in good condition. All showers and faucets had excellent water pressure. Beds and pillows were comfortable. There were a few notable issues: The bedroom and bathroom doors stick and don’t close completely, and therefore cannot be locked. There was a smoke detector missing in one of the bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms had ants. As I mentioned above, the condo was clean, so I don’t know what was drawing them.”airbnb

“Great location super walkable to the beach! Very nice accommodations too, beautiful home and we enjoyed our stay. Only downside is the host response time could be a little better (we let them know about a light bulb being out in the bathroom and since that bathroom has no window, it was essentially unusable throughout our stay). Another thing worth calling out is while the location is great for walking to the beach, restaurants and bars, the house is along 22nd street which is the major exit route out of the beach town and thus gets a lot of traffic. Traffic didn’t bother us but with a wide road and no traffic calming, this is the perfect combination for late night/ early morning drag racing and engine revving which might be difficult to sleep through for the light sleepers.”airbnb

“Although the description is accurate, the house is in need of maintenance. The walls are dirty and in need of paint. The furniture in the living room is worn and beyond it's prime. The outside of the house including windows were very dirty. Although there are blinds to hide them, seeing a child's fingerprints and mouthprints on all of the doors is not appropriate for a high-end Airbnb. The air vents are disgusting. I would highly recommend at least cleaning the cold air return as the filter is packed full and likely explains why the air conditioner couldn't keep up. The microwave did not work on our arrival. It was replaced 2 days into the stay. It took 3 maintenance visits for that to happen. The TV in the living room on the wall was not working and was replaced by a TV on a table. No TV in bedrooms although that is stated but still lacking. The amenities are quite limited. Make sure you bring your own shampoo, soap, and extra toilet paper. Close to beach but road noise is very loud.”airbnb

“The house was beautiful with plenty of room for 4 adults and 4 teenagers and a small dog! Beds were comfortable. It was in walking distance to the beach as advertised…I wld recommend you have a wagon or a cooler on wheels to help carry all your beach stuff. We reported that one of the tv remote controls had dead batteries…we were told to “look for replacement batteries in the drawers…if there are none, go purchase new batteries and send us the receipt “ Then one of the toilets plugged up..we looked for a plunger ..none to be found…we messaged them and didn’t hear from them…went to Walmart and purchased one along with cleaning products..and addressed the issue ourselves…we messaged them and told them we handled the issue..their reply was “sorry we’ve been busy but send us your receipt and we will reimburse you.” All in all, the house was perfect…customer service was terrible!”airbnb

“The price was very expensive but because we had family we sacrificed. It would have been better if there was a main bedroom on the first floor all bedrooms were on the second and third floor. Not ideal for older families but all of us were able to climb the stairs. The only other minor thing, not speaking negatively just awareness for the hostess. The prices for garages and other needed phone numbers that was sent were incorrect and the price list for parking was 10 years old. May need to get current phone listing and prices for the parking so guests can have more up to date pricing for the location. Thank you,”airbnb

“I would give our experience an 8 out of 10. The townhouse was nice and had plenty of room for the five of us. I stayed in the primary bedroom on the 22nd Street side, and it was very noisy every night until around 4:00 a.m. There were cars racing up and down the road, and we could hear sirens frequently, especially at night. We also had an issue with the back door. It took a while for someone to get back to me after I called and sent text messages about the problem. Overall, we had a good stay and enjoyed the property, but the noise and delayed communication prevented it from being a perfect experience.”airbnb

“It was clear the home was flipped and minimally. The pictures hide it. Lots of small annoying things like no towel hooks or bars in the bathroom, need to pull the door to engage the deadbolt, outdoor cushions wet from rain (said it’s covered and can use rain or shine) but stayed wet so usable, lots of traffic and noise, very loud washer dryer, no small spoons (just big) etc.). The beds were comfortable but the towels and sheets were thin. The couch felt like a dorm room couch - said it was a new restoration hardware couch? I would not recommend.”airbnb

“Overall stay at Coastal Accommodations was nice and the property itself was clean, comfortable and well-kept. The location and amenities made for a pleasant trip overall. There were a few challenges. On our last night, the thermostat that controls the 2nd and 3rd floors stopped working and those areas became extremely hot and uncomfortable. We also would have appreciated a little more flexibility with check-in. Check-in was strictly at 4 PM and although I reached out in advance about the possibility of early access, I was repeatedly told to keep checking back because it was a busy week. I never received a follow-up about the unit being ready early so we still had to wait until the scheduled check-in time. Because of that, we ended up paying extra for a day-use pass at a nearby hotel while waiting for the 4pm checkin. We also could have used more towels and face cloths during the stay, though it was helpful that the unit included a washer, dryer and detergent. Still enjoyed the unit.”airbnb
