“Beautiful mid century casita! The decor and views were excellent. The pool was a huge plus! Not the greatest location in regards to getting to attractions so some driving is involved but still very close. I enjoyed my time!”airbnb

“We absolutely loved this place—perfect size and a great location, and clean. Unfortunately, our experience with the late checkout was disappointing. We were approved for one but weren’t told that payment needed to be made immediately. The next morning, we still had clothes in the washing machine when we were told we had to leave. When we tried to resolve the situation, the staff weren’t very helpful and came across as a bit rude, which made the situation even more frustrating.”airbnb

“We loved this place, many areas to sit and enjoy family time. This place had everything we needed. We only had a few issues but the biggest concern was the heating of the spa, I reached out 2 days before our arrival asking if there was anything we need to do about making sure the heated pool/spa was ready for arrival. Not until then did they inform us that only the pool or spa could be heated and which did we prefer, we told them we wanted the spa heated. The first evening we tried using the spa, it was not hot. I proceeded to message back and forth for 2 1/2 days requesting instructions on what we needed to do and it was not heating beyond lukewarm. Finally at that point they said, oh yes we are now only heating the spa so it will now heat to 102. To lose half of our time at the rental and not be able to use the hot tub was beyond disappointing. There should be clear instructions about requesting what you want heated before arrival and how to use the heating features.”airbnb

“While this home is beautiful it is NOT a private property. The owners live in the guest house that shares the yard. It was not at all disclosed. Had we not had our whole family we would have moved locations. We were very disappointed and we were told the owners were leaving and going elsewhere which was completely untrue. For the money we spent it was quite disappointing not to get what we paid for. On top of it the pool and Jacuzzi heater never worked the entire day. They kept going in and out, even though they said they were fixing it.”airbnb

“Location was pretty good and very close to the highway but on a cul-de-sac with a little traffic. The problems started when we went to check in. We showed up at check-in time and unfortunately the cleaning staff was there so we got into the unit almost an hour late. Then the air-conditioning failed. I reached out to management and they told me to change the settings. Unfortunately, that didn’t fix it. So we had no air-conditioning for three days. They sent out a tech, but he was still there when my wife came back alone, and she didn’t feel comfortable having to be there with an HVAC technician one on one on our spring break vacation. Then we noticed that both bathroom sinks were clogged. I had noticed that one was draining slowly in the master bathroom, but I didn’t know what the cause was. My son showed us that the sink in the bathroom he was using was having sewage gurgling up. That happened for several days although we did report it. The bathroom smelled horrible.”airbnb

“Although the location and style of this property have potential, the description of this home was not accurate. It was NOT meticulously cared for, it is beat up. Broken A/C, stove, cupboard doors, kitchen and bedroom blinds. Missing kitchen blind. No grill as listed under amenities. Dirty carpet, tile, wood floor, and window sills. Pet fur on the couch (no pets allowed). Hole in master bedroom wall. Missing light switch plate. WiFi info was wrong. Worst part was when we arrived it was 90 degrees....A/C was on and never cooled. When I called the next day it took them a looong time to respond and they didn't believe me. It took another day to fix it. Although we asked for and received a partial refund, in recognition of these issues, we will not stay at another Coast to Cactus property in the future.”airbnb
