“We enjoyed our stay. There is a lot to do right on site and we felt safe letting the young teenagers roam around. My only complaint is the house lists an EV charger and I reached out to the host to confirm that the EV charger is at the house, not a shared one somewhere in the community, and they confirmed that its in the carport. However when we got there, there was no EV charger in the car port. I asked the host about this but they never responded. They answered all my earlier and later questions though. The "EV Charger" needs to be removed from this listing, or clearly stated that its a shared charger in the common area of the community / not at the house.”

“Pros: Location was amazing. Plenty of space for our group of 8. Nice place overall. Cons: it doesn’t have a humidifier so smells musty when you get there. Many doors and cabinets are warped too (suspect because of the moisture) so creates less than optimal experience. Not terrible to struggle to open the porch door, but annoying the 5th time a day it happens. Only had 5 coffee cups for a place that sleeps 12. When I called to complain they said they would bring more and didn’t. No beach / pool towels which is odd for a beach resort. Also no basic kitchen goods like olive oils, salt and pepper. Not sure I have stayed at another place in port aransas without those! Overall it was a fine place. Great location, beautiful views. But dated and not worth the high price it had. They tout luxury and it was not a luxury experience. I called customer service to give them an opportunity to fix the situation (coffee cups and olive oil please!) and they didn’t.”

“The house was perfect other than the faint smell of cigarette smoke which was more apparent once we checked out and came home and could smell it on our clothes. Brought to the attention of Cinnamon Shores and was disappointed that no compensation was given. Another complaint was with the resort itself- high tide closed golf cart access to the bridges for the majority of the days we were visiting. The risk of driving to the beach should be at the discretion of each person and not the property, especially when using personal golf carts. Otherwise, everything was as advertised and was wonderful.”

“My family and I had a wonderful time staying in this condo at Cinnamon Shore. The space was clean, the beds were comfortable and it was stocked with everything we needed. I love how walkable the area is. Rent a golf cart, it’s even more fun! Close to the pool, restaurants, and the beach. The host was responsive and check in and check out were very easy. We will stay again!”

“The house was beautiful! Super close to the beach and shops and pools. Unless you have small kids or you are carrying a lot to the beach, you don’t even need to rent a golf cart. Would definitely stay here again. One note to property manager….check the burners on the stove. We had trouble getting the big ones to light up. Not a big deal at all….just mentioning so you can have them looked at.”

“Very disappointing experience. We arrived for our scheduled 4:00 PM check-in to find a CS employee inside the home. We had to ask him multiple times to move so we could unload. The home was not properly prepared. We found a dead cockroach on the floor, several soap dispensers were nearly empty, there was no propane for the grill, and a smoke detector battery began chirping loudly in the middle of the night, forcing us to remove it ourselves. We rented a golf cart through CS. The Bluetooth did not work, and the replacement cart had a low tire. We reported the safety concern and received no response. The most concerning issue was the conduct of staff members. My family was treated disrespectfully, yelled at, photographed without explanation, and subjected to inappropriate and offensive language. We reported the incidents and provided video evidence, yet received only generic responses from management. We owned property at CS from 2009–2020 and never experienced anything like this.”
