“The place was huge and spacious, perfect for our group of 14. Plenty of beds such that almost everyone had one to themselves and the bathrooms were clean and had plenty of towels. The mornings were super quiet and beautiful with a private front yard and semi-private back deck. Only a 15 min drive or uber to the Bowen's Wharf area of Newport. And even closer to the Cliff Walk and other beaches.”

“What a fabulous spot and what a fabulous home to have for our family. The living room / kitchen dining area is huge and wide open and flows together. We had a ball. The yard was private and big enough for kids to play. Cool place with lots of games, pool and shuffleboard, for all. We visited the small beach down the street everyday. I only suggest they list the house as 5 BR plus a huge loft as there is no privacy for people to sleep on the loft. Small issue was the small BR with portable AC we letting bugs in. While Chris responded immediately it did not force us to not use this room for 2 hot nights. Overall, great place. We may come back. Hope you enjoy.”

“We could go on about our stay at this little slice of heaven. First time staying on the Oceanside of the cape and loved it. This property and location are tremendous. Extremely private and private path to what feels like your own solo beach. The house has everything you need, be sure to have your coffee on the outside deck in the morning and enjoy the swallows that have homes just below the deck that were built in they come so close you see their colors! The aesthetic of the old meets the modern amenities and updates, all done with creative class. It was unfortunate we couldn’t catch up to the seals that swam by a few times a day but we kept trying! Fav restaurant Mac Shack in Wellfleet… definitely wait for a table out back but the water/marsh Fav Coffee. Our ground from home on the deck with the swallows Fav breakfast sandwich Vivs kitchen and juice bar”

“really excellent common space, a great way to get together for a larger group. great neighborhood, short drive to downtown Newport. Short drive to golf courses and vineyards. Definitely recommend for a group get together”

“This home and location is amazing! The view is spectacular, the beach access is wonderful and the privacy is exceptional. Charming classic old home updated for all the comforts needed. This house had literally everything you could possibly need durring your stay. The charm and location top any place I have stayed on the cape. Will definitely be back here!”

“Nice peaceful location for our family get together to celebrate some major milestones. Was comfortable and easy to access especially for my 88 y.o. mom. Beautiful landscaping and plenty of indoor space to relax. Appreciated the double refrigerators, pool table and shuffle board.”

“Chris’s home was the perfect stay for our girls trip. There were plenty of rooms and beds for all 12 of us. We also enjoyed the backyard and deck space when it was warmer outside. Definitely would recommend for bigger groups!”

“Place was fairly nice but not worth the price we paid. There was an ant infestation. The place needs some maintenance. There was a missing lock on the back door of the house and we had to request the owner come and install an actual lock”
