“It was alright for barely being there. The kitchen was nice. One of the beds you will literally sink into so it’s uncomfortable. The TV remote doesnt work for the tv in the living room and you cant connect any remote apps neither. He didnt take this serious. Only comes with 2 rolls of toilet paper. Oh, and why do we have to pay to park when at night you cant even find a good parking spot in front of the airbnb, which resulted me in a $80 ticket by the way.”

“The house worked well for us as a group of young adults who were wanting to see Chicago, easy access to the city through the train. Enough beds for us too and at a reasonable price. We enjoyed having three apartments as well. In terms of minor issues, there were some broken outlets that seemed a tad concerning and the TVs weren’t all working. There is also a step that seemed close to breaking and a couple of broken windows. I wouldn’t recommend for families due to this, but for young adults it’s great. With a few repairs it will be great.”

“One of the worst bnb stays I’ve had reached out multiple times about certain concerns or questions and never got a reply, u can hear everything upstairs and when I say everything I mean EVERYTHING including inappropriate explicit noise that some would find uncomfortable listening to window was broken so at night it became super cold and thermostat is controlled upstairs and never replied when I reached out about it Weird smell coming in that lingered even after lighting incense, fire pit was full of garbage and couldn’t be used, couldn’t use the tv because the remote was no where to be found, I could go on n on but don’t even want to waste my energy all I can say is save your money and get a hotel or something😂 only good thing I can say about this place is the housekeeping lady that was nice and friendly”

“Nice and clean room. Only issue was the room temperature. It was freezing and there was no way to adjust the air when the weather changed outside. There was also no tissue in the bathroom and couldn’t find any extra stored anywhere. I reached out to the host about these issues and got no response.”

“The place was nice just as described on the listing however, this is the worst experience I’ve ever had with Airbnb. Night 2 I received a $200 parking ticket due to poor instructions on how to properly use the parking pass. The host’s description said pay $5 and put the parking pass in the right corner of my window so I did such apparently the parking pass also had to be filled out with detailed information about my car. I was not aware of that I followed the instructions that was given to me by the host. Mind you the parking passes are located in the laundry room at night there are no lights in that room. I reached out to the host to let him know about the $200 ticket. He told me to reach out to the Village to see what the ticket was for when I informed him of what they told me it was due to my information, not being filled out on the form he stopped responding. Now I’m stuck paying this damn ticket. This was not worth my two day stay”

“House smelled like weed.. then was sent a message “reminding me” that there is no weed smoking in the apartment. Had a person continuously trying to use a false code to get in while was there in the middle of the night… not safe wouldn’t stay.”

“The place was clearly not cleaned properly...dirty cups and trash left behind No toilet paper Terrible smell in the main bedroom Sewage smell... not sure what why or where it was coming from but we were unable to stay there.”

“Check-in and checkout were easy, and the home was reasonably clean. However, the listing is misleading, as it's a triplex rather than a private home. Numerous items were broken, including doorknobs, blinds, outdoor chairs, light covers, and the recliner. The basement smelled, the washer/dryer didn't work, and the backyard was much smaller than the photos suggested. The microwave was extremely slow, the oven wouldn't heat above about 210°, and the coffee maker repeatedly tripped the breaker, shutting off the internet. We were then asked to return to reset it because the host's cameras went offline. Considering the price, the condition and maintenance of the property were unacceptable, and we would not stay here again.”

“Although the place was fairly clean, when i arrived the power was out. When trying to reach out to David i couldn’t reach him for almost 2 hours. when he did reply, it was an AI generated response that was not helpful. when he finally answered, he sent someone out hours later. he did allow us to use the upstairs unit too which was a nice gesture but we still had to sleep with no AC lol. it was miserable.”

“horrible. very disappointed and disgusted. there was a mouse & also multiple traps found. thats very unsanitary and a health hazard nonetheless. didnt respond about it and also MULTIPLE appliances not working. the tvs and fridge. dirty sheets and dishes. -100/10 i wouldnt rent”
