“We enjoyed our stay, but the place was a bit smaller than expected. It was also older and needed a few updates. The curtains were very wrinkled, it looked as if they were just hung straight out of the package. A water line broke our last night and we were without water the next morning. When I called to report, I was told sorry but no one would be available to help out until 8:00. No other options were mentioned, like maybe were to go for water. Chetola is a lovely place, just needs a few updates.”

“Chetola was the perfect location and place for all we love to do in the area. Found on Airbnb with unmatched pricing at the last minute. We were so happy in the updated space and invited another couple to play games. Everything was supplied that you could need. Amenities were great. Staff was kind and friendly. The bed was comfortable and quality towels. Washer/dryer was also helpful. Lastly the view was wonderful!”

“This is a beautiful and spacious, well-appointed two bedroom condominium in an excellent location. The proximity to downtown Blowing Rock and to the Moses Cone trails is excellent. The Chetola property is beautiful. We absolutely enjoyed staying in this lovely condominium. Our only concern was the slow response by Chetola Rentals to our communications (phone, text, email) that we had no hot water. Eventually we located the breaker box and flip the breaker ourselves.”

“We enjoyed our stay at Chetola. The only problem was that the sofa bed was not working. It was tied together so it could not be opened. Guest Services was very responsive to my call on Saturday night and offered me the condo right beside the one we rented. Upon inspection of that pull out sofa, we realized that that one was unusable as well. My 87 year old mother had to sleep on the sofa because the king bed was too high for her to get up on. She slept miserably that night. I called guest services Sunday morning and again they were very responsive and brought a roll away bed which worked out for us. Neither of those units, Wren 203 and 202 should be rented as sleeping 4 guests because the sofa beds are unusable. Other than that, our stay was very pleasant.”
