“This duplex is right by the beach and weighing walking distance to great restaurants and a coffee shop as well as the beach. It was a great size for our family of four.”

“Could be so beautiful. Great location to beach! Convenient market next door! Stains on couches and they stunk! Needs some TLC overall!! The place itself is awesome—just updated sheets/blankets/ to make it nicer!!New couches desperately needed. Little things like a hairdryer and fans would be so nice!!”

“beds and furniture need to be upgraded. bathrooms had mildew and smell. lighting was the worst not all fixtures worked. sat in the couch and something bit me. beds smell, not comfortable to sleep in. beds sheets stained the towels smell like mildew. cobwebs and dust everywhere. place feels spooky like a haunted house. my granddaughter stepped on exposed nails in the flooring. DONT STAY HERE!!!!!”

“They could spend about $300 on plumbing repairs and not have to leave rude signs all around. Faucets are worn, and door locks are incorrectly installed. A lot of the surfaces were not properly cleaned but the bedding was nice and clean and so was the bathroom. It's hard to beat sleeping to the sound of the ocean though, so that balanced it out. I was glad previous guests had left some laundry detergent. The kitchen had everything I needed except for filtered water. I felt safe staying there as a single mom with two kids. Neighbors were friendly and quiet.”

“A really nice place. BUT FALSE ADVERTISING because you are not allowed to use the pool shown in the pictures but only a pool further away.”

“With limited available options during UCSC graduation season, we chose this unit for its relative proximity to Santa Cruz and what seemed like a good value for an oceanfront property. It’s not ocean front and the view is very much obstructed by the construction and ugly houses below. Access to the beach is also not so easy. While the unit was cozy like a grandma decorated it. Although the patio was very dirty with trash left from previous guests, like purple acrylic finger nails and other strange trash in the corners. If you have more than 1 car parking is only on street. No accommodations will be made. Finally check out is early - 10 am! The directions for trash disposal are inaccurate. We needed to drop trash bags elsewhere as the code and key were not working. Didn’t love the overall experience of the property.”

“Our house is spacious very nice. The only thing it did not have was any salt pepper no condiments it doesn’t come with more than one paper towel. No, Kleenex is bring extra of your own tissue and no beach towels. So you need to come prepared with the house is very nice.”

“Beautiful place. Clean and very accommodating. Property management did not disclose the construction outside the patio - obstructing view of the beach. Walking distance to beach restaurant, cafe, lunch diner and local market.”
