C’est La Vie Rentals
4.62Visit website
C’est La Vie Rentals's guest rating of 4.62 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“I’ve used this app numerous times but have never experienced what I did with these owners. Overly invasive questions and hidden fees. I cancelled the reservation before going to the property because their behavior/ questioning raised safety concerns for myself and my daughter. I’m sure it was just a misunderstanding but regardless safety is important to me.”airbnb

“This place had it’s pros and cons. The hosts were amazing and accommodating, but there were a few big issues we dealt with that had a huge effect on our stay (which they did come out to fix.) Firstly, we weren’t able to check in until 5pm when we were planning on 4PM. When we got there, the cleaning crew was sitting outside smoking. However, they did allow us to check out an hour late on Sunday. Secondly, the master shower does not get warm. A repairman came out and tried to fix it and tried to blame it on us for taking long showers when in reality the first person to use it said it was cold. The most annoying part was that the stove didn’t work. I bought a lot of groceries to cook and lost my money on that because the stove didn’t work when I needed it to. The location is amazing, the parking is really annoying, the place was beautiful and spacious, and overall I had an amazing time. While an effort was made to make things right, it did affect my trip.”airbnb

“The good: Location is great! The Bad: The check-in instructions were absurdly long and convoluted, and the hosts held the door code until I confirmed whether we'd have extra guests or pets for any private events. They never mentioned an additional charge, but their rules count pets and visitors as "guests" past a count of 10, so I'm sure I would have heard about it if we'd gone over. That's deceptive. We also had a neighbor call the police on us after we rang the wrong doorbell looking for the right entrance. There are only 4 parking spaces, and you have to park like you're solving a puzzle. We were promised two cars in the garage, but a large wooden pallet was in the way so only one fit. The listing's 5 bedrooms are really 3.5. Surfaces looked dusted over rather than actually wiped down. No paper towels, not enough floor mats, and the fan remote in my room had no batteries. Not a space I'd recommend for hosting even a small private event.”airbnb

“We requested to check in at 2 pm and it showed approved. My wife drove with our dog 2 hours and 1 hour before the 2 pm check in we got a message saying we need to pay an additional $60 for our pet after the booking was confirmed and we already paid $30 when booking. I paid the $60 and right before check in they told us we can only check in by 4 pm. Then we didn’t get a door code until 4:17 pm. When conversing with them we were barely able to speak to the actual hosts and they never took any responsibility for any issues. You would need to scroll all the way down this listing and find a section to see so many extra rules. Never had such a difficult situation like this before. We didn’t even check in and it was a horrible experience. Expect to be charged additional fees after booking is confirmed for pets and deal with endless unnecessary rules. There also wasn’t a corn hole as show in the photos and you’d only know this if you scrolled all the way down. Airbnb gave us a full refund.”airbnb
