Central Reservations of Mammoth

“We had a great stay for a spring ski weekend! Plenty of space for my sister and I to bring our families! They had a doggie bowl and treats for our pup when we arrived and a nice bottle of wine with a card. The extra touches were so great. Walkable to mammoth village with great food choices. Easy to find, parking was great. Super responsive to all our questions and even dropped off a wine opener when we couldn’t find one in the kitchen! We would stay here again. 😊”

“We requested early arrival but it was not ready on time. We came back after check in 4:30pm keys were missing had to wait for someone to arrive. Upon entering the condo smelled very bad. I had to open windows spray prefume turn heater on due to it being cold for kids. The shower had hair. All throughout the condo there was spider webs ceilings, blinds and curtains. Bed sheets stained. The lights are all lamps. They did not provide fire starter could not turn on fireplace. Even tho it stated it was provided. Had to pickup the stove to open cabinets because the cabinets door is in the way very odd. Has only one small TV under stairs. One step on stairs is broken. Very old nothing is updated. Speaker is old could not connect Bluetooth or phone to TV or speaker. Also hot water runs out after two people shower. Water to wash dishes run out fast within less of 3 mins. My family and I were not satisfied. We would not stay here again or recommend it. It's 5mins away from Village.”

“Listen to the previous reviews- the beds are TERRIBLE! We even put 2 comforters under the fitted sheet to give some cushion. I honestly dreaded going to bed every night because the bed was so hard. Even my children said their beds were uncomfortable (they sleep on firm mattress at home, so that’s saying something). The place is extremely run down and the carpet needs to be replaced. As the other reviews stated about the place being dirty and not properly cleaned- that’s true. Cob webs in every corner, build up of dirt and dust. With that being said- luckily, the fridge and bathrooms were clean! 2 of the beds in the upstairs loft had not been laundered (questionable items on the sheets). However I stripped the beds and washed the sheets. Bright side- view is STUNNING, parking easy, walkable to teal line and great area for snow play. Would I stay there again? If the carpet was replaced and they got mattress toppers for the beds, yes. Side note- the heaters work fantastically!”

“Upon arriving, we immediately noticed the living room wall heater extremely dusty as well as cobwebs throughout the loft area. We requested and were promised more dawn dish soap during our stay but none arrived. We had to ration the dish soap. The recreation center was advertised with a pool table and ping pong table. Unfortunately, both the pool and the ping pong tables were missing equipment and un-usable. While we did communicate this concern to our host, the only solution was to get our dollar refunded. There was a lot of clutter in the cabinets and drawers. A vacuum cleaner would have been helpful.”
