“We had a great stay! The house was clean, spacious for 6 people, and had everything we needed. Everything was just a short walk away, and it was only a 5 minute walk from the ferry. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Avalon.”

“Beautiful views but the place needs major updating. The beds were old, rock hard extremely uncomfortable mattresses and the bathrooms were dirty. It's one thing to have beautiful antiques, but quite another to have old, broken down, rusty falling apart furniture. The "king" bed on the bottom floor was actually two twin mattresses pushed together with a big crack down the middle. The entire house smelled of mildew and the kitchen wasn't stocked with paper towels or any of the little conveniences that other Airbnb's provide. Bare bones minimum effort here.”

“Gorgeous views. Very expensive villa with a golf cart that didn't have safe breaks. The villa is within Hamilton Cove which is a gated community away from the town Avalon. You need a golf cart to get around. The lower villa fits 12 people but the golf cart only fits 6 and you cannot rent a golf cart overnight. We tried. We had to pay for taxis because the breaks on the golf cart were so dangerous going down the hill. I tried messaging the property management company about this upon check out with no response. For the price of this air bnb they should accommodate with a safe golf cart, and they should offer 2 golf carts to fit all the people that can fit in the villa. The basement washing machine was broken as well. Clean unit but very overpriced in my opinion with the hiccups.”

“Horrible company to work with”

“Place is up the street from the boardwalk, but it is a very steep climb. The steps up to the unit are also very steep and narrow. The lock box is had to get into. The unit does not have A/C so it was really hot when we finally got in. Once in, there are a ton of rules for when you are there and when you check out. There is only 1 bathroom. The beds are really uncomfortable. The linens and pillows are really dusty and smell not clean. The whole place set our allergies off. The tv in the living room never worked, and no one got back to me about it. All of the rules make you feel like they are intentionally trying to have you not spend any time in the unit. The view is really nice up there but again can’t enjoy it due to rules. Not a kid friendly place. The place aside, the company that runs the Airbnb asks for a lot of additional things outside of the Airbnb app.: a contract, copy of your I.D, and a copy of a CC. They are not good at replying to messages.”
