“Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. From the moment we arrived, there was a strong, persistent rotten fish odor throughout the main living area of the condo. We reported it immediately and continued communicating throughout our stay that the smell had not improved. Although there was an initial attempt to address it, the odor was never resolved. Even more disappointing was the lack of communication from the host. Despite our repeated messages and updates, the host became unresponsive and never followed up to see if the issue had been corrected or offered any meaningful resolution. We spent much of our vacation on the balcony or away from the condo simply to avoid the overwhelming odor. We understand that unexpected issues can happen, but how a host responds matters. Unfortunately, we did not feel our concerns were taken seriously or appropriately addressed. Based on our experience, we would not stay here again.”

“Location was good. It would have been nice to have been allowed to check in a little early. Especially since the condo was empty for days before we arrived. But then the day before leaving the host was pretty pushy about getting us out early so the cleaners could get in. Having to put a code in at every single door or gate gets old. To get to the beach you go out the front of the building and have to walk around to the beach side. Condo has been updated but it’s been a while. It is not as fresh as you would think when the listing says remodeled. We did notice a musty smell. The master shower could use a touch up. The building is older. Also the balcony doors were filthy. We couldn’t even see out them. We cleaned them but it didn’t help much. One roll of paper towels doesn’t last long with 5 people. For the price we paid we expected a little more.”

“Stay was great. I had a couple issues but i was able to make it work.”

“Armando likes to YELL when you confront him about the false photos of the apartment I paid for but I got a nasty tiny room . Nothing like in the pictures and he even admits its not what he advertised. I asked him " I've checked in but this is NOT the apartment I rented, can I have what I rented" he yelled " I don't like this immature going to CANCEL your reservation.".. I explained it had driven 7 hours. He didn't care. He just figured i had no other choice but stay in his AWFUL room..not apartment. I was devastated 💔 😢 I had my no place to go . So I called AirBnb and told them what was happening. At this point forget the room. Now i did not feel safe there..we checked out within minutes. Do rent from this man he falsely advertised with pictures of entire different place. You will get a weird looking tiny room n 2 twin beds with bad AC and dingy room ..not the luxurious pictures I Booked.”

“Kitchen corroded and dirty including all the utensil.”

“Beautiful unit with a great view on the 12th floor, but for the price paid, one would expect the basic amenities such as extra trash bags, more than 1 roll of paper towels (to make up for no kitchen towels) or at least a kitchen sponge to wash dishes with. Some beach towels would have been nice. The ice maker did not produce ice, the dishwasher needs to be replaced as the rollers are rusted out. Small sugar ants appeared . Watch the little ones in the hallway of each floor because the windows are at floor level with a openable window which has NO screen, they could easily fall through! All in all it was a nice place in a great location.”

“Roaches on the kitchen table and on the toilet seat! Ants climbing on the refrigerator handle and in the bathroom on my toothbrush! Sparsely supplied, only one coffee cup.for two of us, no electric outlet.near coffee maker, no towel bar in the bathroom”

“Roaches and non responsive on messages promised remote never came through.”

“One bed had hair all inside the sheets; the other had mucus wiped all over the sheets, with some other substance stained all over. We had to wash the sheets ourselves with dish soap because the house provided no laundry soap.”
