Castle Resorts (Kaha Lani Resort)

“The location was great with easy access to the beach right out front. A nice park is just a short walk to a public beach with lifeguards. The condo does not have AC, but many windows to let in the ocean breeze. The front rooms were cooled but the back rooms were a little hotter. Each room does have a fan. Kitchen was stocked with utensils. The pool was great to cool down late in the day. Quite area (minus many chickens roaming around). Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return.”

“We had a great stay in this condo. The view is amazing! The place is steps from the ocean and a nice walking path. A public beach is just a short walk away. The location was great for us to explore both sides of the island. The area is quite and peaceful (except for chickens around, but we didn't mind them). We used the pool in the evening. There are a lot of windows to allow the ocean breeze in for cooling down the condo. The backrooms were a little hot with no AC, but fans and open windows helped. Overall we had a great stay and would return.”

“Castle Kaha Lani was clean and spacious - a good fit for our family of 5. The view was beautiful and there was always a breeze blowing through the place. It is the windward side of the island and so the wind can be quite intense! They provided beach towels, shampoo and conditioner and there's a laundromat on site. These were helpful while traveling far from home. We did a kayak and hike to Secret Falls and this was only a few minutes down the road from the launching - a great location for that!”

“We love Kaha Lani! The place was perfect for our family, and only a short walk to Lydgate Beach. We enjoyed the beach equipment and had everything we needed.”

“Great location, minutes to the airport, Costco, and grocery stores. A short walk down the beach promenade brings you to a protected park swimming beach(sandy bottom). Well appointed kitchen. With all the windows and French doors open the breeze cools the apartment. Would be nice to have a/c in the bedrooms otherwise a wonderful place.”

“This is our second stay at 327 and we would come back again. It is well situated, lovely view and real Ocean front. All is well equipped and available.”

“Pros: Good location with a beautiful view and large balcony. Well stocked kitchen and beach items provided. Cons: for the price paid, we would expect a fully updated apartment than a half renovated place: bathroom fixtures, lap shades and curtains are rusted or damaged by moisture. Old carpet. Primary bathroom, although updated, shower stall is small/low water pressure. Middle bedroom has holes in the wall from construction that are not patched yet. It also has a bunk bed with low clearance instead of two single beds as shown in the picture. No access to washer/dryer for stays longer than a few days.”

“We have stayed here before and enjoyed Castle Kaha Lani. While the views are spectacular, the condition, cleanliness, etc. could be improved. The place is dated and could use a spruce up, but overall it fit our needs; again we had that view! Sadly, the railing blocks the view, so I would suggest adding elevated chairs/table so that you don't have to stand to see the ocean. It was a drawback. The kitchen was nice, but there were several dirty dishes, and the drawers were pretty nasty; a good kitchen cleaning should be in order. We also found a ton of broken glass on the deck; that was concerning. Once we vacuumed and swept, it was better. The bedrooms were fine and overall comfortable. The beds are VERY firm, so be prepared for that. Overall, the view makes up for most of it but if there would be one good deep cleaning, I think it would be much better. Overall, I would stay here again in a heartbeat just because of the view and its closeness to things.”

“Great location, nice accommodations. Everything is great except we had to run to the office when we needed towels and they close at 4 every day. Also ran out of supplies and garbage bags. Kind of a hassle.”
