“Location is perfect- close to public beach and restaurants but far enough away for privacy. Upgraded are being done in the area and on the property but it didn’t affect our stay. Property is dated but clean! We would come back in a heartbeat to be in this specific area.”

“We go every year to Manasota Key and have stayed at Castaway Condos before. We absolutely love the property and all the amenities are so great. This unit in particular could use new linens and towels. The bed sheets, the comforter and the kitchen towels were all stained. The bedrooms definitely need black out curtains or treatment in the windows. They get very hot and bright. Other than that, the unit has everything you need for a amazing stay. There's beach towels, beach gear, grilling utensils and tons of plates and glasses. The view from the balcony is great too.”

“We enjoyed our stay! The AC struggled the first night with some notable hot spots. It did randomly set to 78 and resulted in an 80 degree room, but once figured out, everything was comfortable. It was a nice stay. The stairs did eventually become a challenge with 3 kids and my parents. Overall, good place for the price!”

“We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful beach condo! The unit has been recently renovated and is modern, clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The location is fantastic, with easy beach access and everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. While there is still construction taking place on some of the other units, it was not noisy or disruptive during our stay and did not affect our experience at all. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for a peaceful beach vacation!”

“The view was amazing, the condo had all the amenities that were needed for a great stay! We were disappointed in the crowded beach directly in front of the Castaways, we thought this was more of a private beach, with the public beach and public beach parking lot right beside the property it was heavily populated with public beach goers! Construction was not an issue at all.”

“We had a great stay, the place is beautifully renovated and decorated. The location is incredible - directly on the beach! Our main issue was sleep - the drapes are transparent and the pillows are enormous, the AC goes on and off all night and therefore we were never able to get a full night of sleep.”
