Manager Review

Casago Mountainblu

Casago Mountainblu's guest rating of 4.68 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Was a lovely stay. The bed was very springy and soft. The water pressure wasn’t great in the shower, but did the job.”

“The place would have been nice if things worked and it had a different host. The hot tub, which was a main feature we wanted on our trip, did not work. The host knew it did not work prior to our arrival as there was a laminated sign on the hot tub saying it did not work and not to use it. When we reached out to the host, they said they were unaware. The dishwasher and fireplace also did not work well but the host stopped responding after we report the hot tub not working. The host will also try to gather your personal information and take the conversation outside of the app. When the hot tub did not work, they offered us $45 instead of the 30% nightly rate AirBnB states we qualify for. The place also did not have clear instructions for things. They had a notebook that instead of being specific to this property, gave us instructions for any property and it was a choose your own adventure notebook (“if the property has a fireplace, it may turn on by doing x).”

“The views were amazing. Unfortunately when we arrived there were some small issues. There was mold growing in the coffee pot. The grounds were still there from previous guess. There were spider webs and a few small spiders throughout the cabin. Our granddaughter does not like spiders so we ended up cleaning to remove the webs. During are stay there was some high winds and lots of rain. Woke up Saturday morning with water dripping from the ceiling over the bed. Everything was wet. We contacted rental office and was told they would bring us clean linens for the bed but wouldn't be able to address the roof leak until weather cleared or Monday. (I already put linens in the wash and dryer) I feel that we left the cabin cleaner when we left than it was when we got there.”

“We had a lovely weekend stay at this Airbnb and loved the surrounding area! The cabin itself was very nice, had super comfy beds, and was decorated lovely. The terrain up the mountain was much more difficult than described. It is possible to do in a smaller car but would definitely be easier with a larger suv/truck. Overall though it was a great place to stay and was a beautiful area to be in.”

“House was beautiful and clean. Peaceful location. Tons of sleeping spaces. Kitchen was well stocked. Great communication with host. There was no outdoor deck furniture or grill. Game room had several games we loved. Unfortunately there were not complete accessories for all the games. Bedrooms lacked basic furniture like dressers, nightstands and lamps. Tall grass around property made it hard to enjoy space. We would consider renting again if these issues were addressed.”

“My only qualm with this place is it was VERY musty and I was concerned about the air quality within the cabin. I tried opening windows but they were to sticky so I couldn’t quite escape the musty/moldy smell. I can tell that this is something that they are working to hide because of the multiple air fresheners set up. Unfortunately, I would not go back to this site because of this problem, despite the spa being great, the bed comfort being good, the shower being well kept, a cute outside fire pit and beautiful setting, and being close to the main town of Helen and the Anna Ruby trail.”

“The cabin itself is clean, cozy, and well stocked, and we really enjoyed the outdoor space and hot tub. Unfortunately, there were several issues that significantly affected our stay and that I wish had been disclosed in the listing. I specifically booked this trip intending to watch an important live semiannual broadcast. The listing advertised TVs and Wi-Fi, but nowhere did I see any disclosure that streaming was unavailable. After arriving, we discovered labels on the TVs stating “NO GAMING NO STREAMING NO NETFLIX.” Had I known this before booking, I would have chosen another property. The Wi-Fi was also painfully slow and became unusable during heavy rain, so streaming on another device wasn't a reliable alternative. Privacy was another disappointment. The exterior doors are largely glass with no window coverings. There is another house immediately across the driveway. There were noisy people behind us as well. There were also cigarette butts & bottle caps left on the front porch.”

“This cabin is beautiful. The location is peaceful, quiet, & away from all the hustle & bustle. The hot tub on the the enclosed deck was perfect for late evening & early morning dips & the gas fireplace was perfect for cozying up in the living room. We enjoyed many of the amenities but were also disappointed in the value for these amenities. It states that there is a coffee maker, so we packed our own coffee with us. When we arrived we were surprised to see it was a Kuerig. Normally this wouldn't be a problem as every other Airbnb we've stayed at includes k-cups for the machine. This one did not. We did not see that there were any reusable cups either. Instead, I had to go purchase k-cups for a 2-night stay for a machine that I do not own. The beds were quite uncomfortable, and the frames made a high pitched squeak at the slightest movement. On top of that, the others joining us found that there was what appeared to be a blood stain on a blanket that they grabbed in the night.”

“Beautiful cabin. Would have liked to lock the front door from the inside . The front door only had pin pad lock no turn lock once your in anyone with the code can enter. Had to retire the American Flag they had hanging was old and worn. There was quite a few Roaches. Had to be sure to cover food or they were all on it. The cabin was peaceful. Hot tub was really good dipped 2 times. Deer walked up to us while we were enjoying the camp fire by the little creek out back. It was really pretty. Needs a street sighn at the beginning of road you will pass it after dark hard to see. All in all other than the few issue it was good. Not excellent but good.”

“Place was great, this was our second time there. Everything was nice and clean and in good shape. We had some issues with the dryer; the first time they sent someone to come fix it, the second time they told us how to try to fix it ourselves. The one downside is the responses to our questions/requests for help seemed AI-generated and were sometimes way off. We had to troubleshoot issues on our own because sometimes it took a day or two to hear back.”
