Casa Mendi's guest rating of 4.56 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Jessica’s place is great and exactly as described. Interactions with her were lovely. The only issues we had was with the building itself and the staff were not as helpful with lots of additional fees. Also there were quite a few rules about the pool including how kids can play and what they can play with that made it a little challenging for our kids (ages 5 & 7). You can’t beat the location!”airbnb

“The place was as described and we loved it. The kitchen was not stocked enough to do much cooking. No dish towels. Some of the outlets did not work but we worked around it. The pool is beautiful. Terrazes (restaurant on floor 9) was delish. The beach was an easy walk. Overall we are very pleased with the place.”airbnb

“The apartment was generally clean, but could use some TLC. the furniture was starting to show its age, the light switches doors and walls were dirty. The bed was really comfortable the views were azing and the pools were great.”airbnb

“Great view & resort is nice hot tub is good but crowded sometimes pool is nice. Location is ok on the beach but can't walk to bars/restaurants most are up on boardwalk over a mile away. Parking & Elevators are always busy - just plan ahead when you're leaving.”airbnb

“The views from sunrise to sunset were amazing on the balcony. The apartment was clean but dated (not bad) although the bathroom showers had mold. We had to call several times to have someone come up to clean. When they came they left sponges in the apartment. We didn't cook but unlike other places we rented there was no basic salt, pepper etc oil and such. Utensils were fine but limited. Gym was fine but 1 of the 4 treadmills and 2 of the ellipticals were out for the 2 weeks we were there. the beaches were packed but didn't have to wait too long any days for chairs - I don't get limiting 2 chairs per apartment when we were 4 people in a 2 bedroom. All minor comments for a terrific 2 week stay”airbnb

“When we arrived at the front desk, they didn't have the reservation. I called the host, he didn't answer, I texted him. Finally after an hour front desk got the confirmation with my name. The front desk were very professional. Great costumer service.”airbnb

“Great location directly on the beach and the apartment was big and beautiful. However, if you go plan to fully stock supplies yourself and know the building admin is rough. The hosts didn’t provide enough toilet paper, hand soap etc to get through one week, and weren’t told we were expected to self-supply until we were completely out. Requests for a bath plug went unanswered. The building regulations are strict and admin lines are long, so you’d have to wait 30 minutes to buy a laundry card to then buy a load of laundry on it. They charge $7 to receive a shipped delivery even if you’re at the door when the delivery man drops it off, and you still have to go to the long line admin office to get permission to pick it up. Tons of potential but wasn’t worth the hassle.”airbnb

“The cando was clean and updated. Things I wished I had known prior to check-in: 1. The unit is on the 15th floor 2. There is construction being done on the building next door and is very loud outside the unit. 3. It is a 30-35 minute walk to the Hollywood Beach Boardwalk. There really is nothing else to do within walking distance (we did not rent a car). 5. There was a planned fire alarm maintenance that we were not informed about. We evacuated down 15 flights of stairs, in the middle of making breakfast, only to learn it was a test. The alarm went off every few minutes until 2:00 pm. 6. The kitchen was practically empty making cookink almost impossible. The pros: 1. Beds and a accommodations were clean and confortable. 2. The pool and the beach were wonderful! 3. Laundry facilities in the unit were nice to have, but it took several hours to do a small load of laundry. Overall, we had a nice experience. I would also note, it would be very cramped with more than 4 people.”airbnb

“This was the worst stay ever!! Everything was old and broken. Couch is broken mirror broken patio chair broken. Couch was filthy with a slip cover. The elevators broke down every single day with fire department rescuing people stuck for hours. We had to go down 31 flights almost every day or wait 20-25 min for elevator. The room had dirty sheets blood everywhere, and there was 1 roll of toilet paper for a week for 6 people. Host was no help and the hotel wasn’t able to do anything. How expensive is toilet paper???There was 1 pillow per bed and we couldn’t get more pillows. DO NOT STAY HERE!! Waste of money!!!”airbnb
