“The lake house was absolutely gorgeous and in a perfect location to have easy access to Chimney Rock. The lake was wonderful during our trip with a dock just steps outside the door and a second level screened porch that we had practically every meal on. There were plenty of towels and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, bake-ware, and silverware. Our kids really enjoyed the lake and we would love to stay again!”

“What a wonderful place to stay! The view!! The peacefulness!! The great access to the lake with all the toys was just perfect! We spent so much time in and on the water. It was delightful and clean. The beds were comfy and the showers were hot with great water pressure. The property was so enchanting that we never wanted to leave to explore the area. It really was perfect”

“We booked this house for our family vacation. 1st I'll say the house was terrific and the dock was very nice. Carolina Properties shouldn't be managing it though. Their employees misquoted an extra night stay and took nearly 12 hrs for Kevin to respond. The kitchen is fully stocked but the pots, Frying pans and knives are useless. Landscapers showed up to spread mulch and blocked our driveway for 2 days. Couldn't enjoy our decks because they were working all around the property. I towed my motorcycle to the property to ride through the mountains. The Gaurd at Rumbling bald resort let us in without issue, but the next day I rode the bike out for a few hours and upon arriving back a different guard wouldn't let me through the gate stating No motorcycles allowed. I spoke to the director and she said the HOA don't allow them. Nowhere in the rules provided to us stated no motorcycles. This info upfront would have been important. If you ride a bik, book somewhere else”

“This property itself is absolutely beautiful. Especially the outdoor area with the million dollar view of Chimney Rock. I was able to watch sunsets, take in the stars at night and even saw alot of fireflies. I haven’t seen those in years! That was a treat. The location is perfect, only a 7 minute drive to Chimney Rock and 4 minutes to Lake Lure Beach. The kitchen was well stocked with everything I needed to make a home cooked meal. WIFI was very strong and never dropped the entire 6 days I was there. The only issue I had was the air conditioning went out on the main level for several days which made the home less comfortable. After some communication issues with the property management team, the air conditioning was repaired and a partial refund was issued. Which I appreciated. Despite that, I genuinely enjoyed how peaceful and beautiful this property is, especially the views.”

“The home and views were absolutely beautiful! Very secluded with the most amazing view! The outside space was clean and relaxing! We loved the hammock. Beds and linens were very comfortable as well. The only negative review I have is on the response time and home instructions. Communication was through different platforms that I could not keep up with and check out instructions/house rules were hard to find as well, but this was not super inconvenient for us. Overall, it was a wonderful stay.”

“Make sure it's clean and ready when you go to rent the property. There was dog hair everywhere on the sofa and beds.”
