Manager Review

Carolina Palm Vacations

Carolina Palm Vacations's guest rating of 4.67 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

Was not allowed to park there, No alternative was offered, no change of date was offered. After driving 3.5 hours, I had to rent another hotel and lost the entire amount paid. Parking restrictions were not clear at all, especially considering it was bike week.

The location being ocean front was to die for , we got to see multiple dolphins from the room while relaxing on the balcony… the pools were amazing.. only downfall was the hot tubs on the 7th floor both of them were broken… also parking wasn’t that fun as there is 12 spot per floor and if people can’t find a spot on their floor they take the spots on the other floors so that leaves you trying to squeeze up an down the parking ramp that’s way to small.. the room was beautiful exactly as described for my family of 5 perfectly.. could use a fresh coat of paint other then that there is no complaints!

Everything at our stay was perfect. Only thing was the floors did not meet my expectations. When we entered the bottoms of our feet turned black from the dirt and you could see trash on the floor also. Other than the floors everything was great.

We weren’t able to stay here the previous tenant smoked in the home. They got very iffy stars: this neighborhood is gated and extremely quiet. Beautiful view. Mattresses are old springy and uncomfortable, zero curtains on windows so you’ll wake with the sun. We got told we could check in early at 12 that was then changed to 2& I now feel thats because of the smoke smell, to me they added the time to try to air out the smell. they responded well to me after I complained. Said theyd refund in full if I had to vacate which I did so at least there’s that. They did also ask me for photos then responded again saying they sent that to the wrong guest So these people have multiple rentals with people coming in to problems at10pm. We had to find another place last minute costing me an extra $300 for a safe clean place. Extremely stressful. Where had they communicated the smell I could have reacted earlier and found somewhere else with less stress but to me they hoped I’d stay and they’d save $$

Pics matched the description. Quiet area. Clean. The front desk staff are not very friendly but communication with Guest Services was very responsive. Make sure you complete the properties documentation prior to arrival or the hotel staff will not let you check in.

Had a fairly good stay. Check-in, parking, clean space, very easy beach access. Not many restaurants around but it’s fine if you have a car. The space did smell stale. Likely due to years of humidity. Also, the email/message instructions are a bit outdated and conflicted the description in the app . Primary issue was that the message said we would have to bring toilet paper and towels. This was a waste of space in our suit case for a weekend stay. Otherwise good stay. Would recommend the condo.

We stayed long term I want to give the pros and cons for others staying long term. Pros: The kitchen was well stocked, Plenty of bath towels and linens, Lots of toys/beach gear for families, Plenty of room, Owner was quick to fix things that went wrong Cons: Furnace couldn't keep up with the cold weather and struggled to heat the house to mid 60's. We had to buy a space heater to keep warm. When it got warm outside in March/April, the upstairs is HOT and the a/c doesn't cool it down. Pest control comes once a month, which we were made aware of when we arrived. However, someone came into the unit without prior notification from the owner. (meaning someone was watching and waiting for us to leave.) On another occasion, the neighbor below us came over to talk to tell us about a leak in his unit (coming from ours) and he tried to let himself into the unit without waiting for me to open the door. It made us very uncomfortable. This place would be ok for a week, but not long term.

Honestly I don’t have time to write something. I gave a 5 star review but this app is insisting that I write something. I am sick and tired of technology trying to manipulate me and everyone else. So I’m writing this comment as a way of saying Fuck you air b & b.
