“The sunrise view was glorious, every day!. The house was perfectly accommodated and we all thoroughly enjoyed our morning coffees on the porch.”

“This home was so nice! The mountain views were spectacular! We enjoyed the overall space the home had to offer. There was plenty of room for our group to spread out and relax. The neighborhood was so nice! We enjoyed taking walks and exploring the area. We were about a 20 min drive from downtown West Jefferson and about a 25 min drive from Boone. The location was perfect!! Hope to stay here again in the future.”

“The house and studio are clean, comfortable and have everything that you need. We liked that you can walk into the town to various shops, bars and restaurants. We weren’t on property too much of the time so we didn’t utilize several of the amenities (grill, fire pits, games, etc), but was nice that the option was there. It worked perfectly for our group staying in town for a wedding. Note: after booking you be asked to sign a third party agreement. That, along with some of the other communication comes outside of the Airbnb app which I found to be a bit of a pain.”

“I want to preface this review by saying my family owns several short term rentals and we are much more understanding than most when it comes to expectations. However it is clear from what we experienced that they don't listen to previous guests' concerns/reviews. THE GOOD: - Great views - Sleek, clean and aesthetically pleasing Scandinavian design - Good location THE OK - The layout of the home isn't fully understood via the listing. The bunk room, additional toilet room, laundry and shower room all accessed motel style and are separate from the main home. Not a big deal for us, but for families this should be more clearly laid out in the pictures/description THE NOT SO GOOD - Hot tub appears to have not been clean. Dirt settled and circulating in the tub. There is also an absurd amount of chemicals in the hot tub. - The propane tank was empty and we realized it when we tried to cook at 730pm - Internet was virtually unusable the entire visit and we were there to work remotely.”

“This was a beautiful home. I had a couple of issues with the reservation company. Check in confirmation said 3 pm for check in, but we were not able to get in until 4. I also did not receive any communication before check in with details, as other hosts have done. In addition, the company called me a day before my checkout saying that my reservation had ended and I needed to vacate. Meanwhile, my confirmation showed an additional night. Whether this was a computer issue, I don’t know.”

“Host called, texted, and messaged me every day since booking to sign an indepth rental agreement outside of Airbnb even after telling her I’d sign it prior to check in. The cabin was infested and covered in mouse poop. Slept on stained and dirty sheets. I’ve stayed all over the country and this is the only place I’ve ever been supplied with 1 roll of toilet paper for 2 people for 5 days. There was one washcloth, 3 towels, and zero dish towels. No hammock like stated. Stayed for an anniversary trip that was a nightmare. Host never apologized and slow to respond if at all. Some third party vacation company as host, renter beware.”

“Ice place just wish they would have at least wiped down the outside tables and chairs so they weren’t full of pollen….other then that it was a beautiful place close to downtown and the winery”

“Amenities were not as described on the app. The kitchen did not have a coffee maker but a kcup machine. I did not bring k cups and they were not provided. For such a chilly place, the hot water was not hot. We were only allowed 2 bags of trash for 8 people for 3 nights and had to haul off our own garbage. There was no basics (salt/pepper sugar) provided as was stated on the app. Only 4 wash rags were provided for 8 people. No dish rag was provided for the kitchen. We spent lots of extra money that I have never had to do before in other rentals. We will not stay here again.”

“We asked if we could have an hour late checkout the day before we left and they never responded. I understand if the answer is no but you could give the courtesy of responding.”

“First off the house was not cleaned. There was left over used soap in the shower, chips on the floor under the bed, candy wrappers, as well as a piece of candy in plain site as you walked down stiars. There was a flying squirrel in the wall in the top floor that we were informed were not harmful but annoying. To top things off which has been the absolute worst bc of time missed from work and school suffering from itching uncomfortable rash from where they did not clean the hot tub properly which lead to several guest contacting contact dermatitis.”
