Cape San Blas Vacation Rentals
4.71Visit website
Cape San Blas Vacation Rentals's guest rating of 4.71 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“I went with my son my two granddaughters and their two friends. The house faces the bay walked straight out to the bay. It’s called Bay Window because there are beautiful window that overlook the bay. The water was clear and we had a wonderful time exploring. I will definitely be coming back”airbnb

“I have stayed in Airbnb properties for over 15 years, including annual trips to Cape San Blas, and this is the first negative review I have ever left. This property did not meet the standards I expect from an Airbnb. After a 9-hour drive with four young children, we arrived to find no beach equipment available. The listing stated beach towels were not provided but did not disclose that there were no beach chairs, wagon, or other beach gear, requiring us to rent equipment the next day. Check-in was also inconvenient, requiring us to stop at the rental office to pick up and later return a physical key. Upon arrival, there were not enough towels for our family, stained sheets, broken blinds, and a large mold/mildew spot on the living room ceiling with water actively leaking onto the floor. When I contacted management, they brought more towels but did not address the other concerns. The response to my feedback was dismissive. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I would not recommend.”airbnb

“Enjoyed the stay! Family oriented. I liked that there were no high rise condos or hotels lining the beach. Great subsets!”airbnb

“Loved the location. The house was just dated with a broken garbage disposal that backed the sinks up. They did send someone to fix it, but the disposal never worked.”airbnb

“We love the area but the house was not clean at all. Belongings were left from previous guests in the washing machine and dirty towels hanging in multiple closets, something that was noticed within 5 minutes of being in the house and impossible for cleaning crew to miss. Also we thought the house was clean because of the intense smell of bleach upon walking in but the floors in the bathrooms were not swept properly (very dirty behind toilets). The biggest complaint we that we killed 1 giant roach per day in the home. Also the lowest level under the house had trash everywhere, beer bottles, cigarette butts (none of our group drinks or smokes) and even a femine hygiene product at the bottom of the steps. Overall the cleanliness was awfully.”airbnb

“Very nice place and location, only like a minute walk to the beach, which is also very nice. Wish they would have provided more like paper towels, toilet paper, stuff to put in the dishwasher, just things like that but overall a great stay. I’d rather be 30mins-1hour from anywhere than in town.”airbnb

“The entire living room is wall-to-wall windows facing the bay. The location is very easy to jump on 30A to get to restaurants in Port Saint Joe. We had a toddler, so we chose this place so when the tide was out, we could take her a long way exploring in the bay at ankle deep. We also liked the big open patio underneath the house that allowed us to do bubbles , etc There also was an outside shower there, which was nice.”airbnb

“The house was nice, and it was very close to the gulf. We enjoyed the calm, beautiful atmosphere. And the beach close by was amazing! The downside is that all of the beds were extremely noisy every time you move. Also, being a lower level, every move the people make above you is also heard. We were here with a family that liked to be very attive until late at night, so we did not get the rest we would have liked. Next time, we will rent a stand alone unit instead of one that has someone renting the floor above us. Also, note that there is onlye 1 roll of toilet paper, so you'll need to purchase your own. There is only 1 packet for running the dishwasher. There is not even salt or pepper. Bring your own tin foil or any other paper products. There are also only tablespoons, not any teaspoons.”airbnb
