“After 12 years, we had our first bad Airbnb experience. I would not recommend staying here unless you’re willing to accept the following very poor Airbnb management: 1). No check-in information. We had to call Airbnb to finally get the door code, an hour after check-in. 2). Terrible communication. They sent a message asking for my email so I could complete their policy document. Once I completed it, they never responded to any of the five messages I sent, including the message letting them know I had completed the policy document and asking if they needed anything else. 3). Their policy document system must be malfunctioning. I signed it, but they apparently never received it and therefore never sent the check-in instructions. They also never messaged me or responded to let me know they still needed a signed policy document. 4). No shampoo, conditioner, or body wash. We’ve grown accustomed to that being standard practice. The cabin itself is clean, cozy and in a great location.”

“The house was clean and had everything we needed for a nice visit. A few minor problems: The directions to get there were inaccurate and the sign for the cabin was not the same as the description. The overkill on the listed policies all over the house and the crazy long policy manual. It made us feel a tad bit un easy that if we left the place with any crumbs, or had any issues at all we'd get a bad review. The expectation is that you must start a load of laundry and do the dishes and take out the trash before you leave.”
