“Ratterman Ranch is truly extraordinary. The house and property are so idyllic that it feels like a little slice of heaven. The grounds are enormous, with rolling hills, dramatic bluffs, beautifully manicured meadows, woods, a pond, and frequent visits from wild turkeys and deer. Everywhere you look there are breathtaking 360-degree mountain views, with especially stunning sunrises and sunsets. The house itself is spacious, exceptionally comfortable, tastefully decorated, and filled with beautiful natural light. The hosts have thought of every detail and seem to have anticipated their guests’ every wish. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked for just about any cooking adventure. Our stay was unbelievably relaxing and genuinely soul-nourishing. It is a very special place, and we would absolutely love to return.”

“No words can describe the place, the quietness, fresh air, sound of the animals and birds, the view and the cabin itself all were amazing! The place was super clean, the sheets and towels and everything was pristine white, the gesture was wonderful, the kitchen was fully equipped from the best items, the floors were clean and the building itself looks like it was built yesterday! Very well maintained. They left chocolates on our bed, fresh brownies on our stove and even fresh mints on our towel! These hosts are the best in all ways thank you for the wonderful hospitality we will definitely be back soon”

“The house was clean and exactly as it looked in photos. There were so many special touches and items around the house for us to use (like in case we forgot something). There was even a pan of fresh baked brownies on the table for us! The deck and the views from it were beautiful!! You could see the whole canyon! And the deck had plenty of space to hang out on and relax. Everything was exactly as described in the listing. This is a ‘smaller’ home and I think the biggest group you could comfortably fit would be 4 people although there is sleeping for at least 6. But again, couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay close to so many beautiful hikes and the Buffalo National River. This area of the Ozarks is absolutely stunning and so pristine.”

“She was able to get us in on a last minute birthday trip for our daughter! And then when we got there? BROWNIES!!!! Oh man they were PERFECT. My daughter and my whole family had an absolute blast 10/10 would stay here again!!”

“We had a wonderful time as a family. The cabin had everything we needed and more. It is ideal for a family of four to six. The view is amazing and very peaceful. The bathroom is a mini spa in itself. Overall kids had fun and it was always nice to come back after a long day out. Most activities are accessible within a 20 minute drive…and we got wonderful recommendations from the host to help us.”

“remote and peaceful cabin in the woods with a great view. I love the privacy of the place and how quiet it was, but you also were only about 10 minutes away from downtown Jasper, which has a very cute café and a couple other places. The beds and linens were very comfortable and the bathroom for the master bedroom was great. Kitchen was well stocked with amenities. The host were super communicative and responsive. A really great experience.”
