“Nice stay for our weekend getaway”

“The inside of the place was decorated very nicely, it was a cute place that definitely felt like a cabin. Mostly clean. There is a washer/dryer combo in it, notes say it will be prefilled with detergent, however we didn't know until the last day that it was not, we also noticed towels were left in there and they smelled quite moldy, tried rewashing them, but without detergent, it didn't do much good. Loved the jacuzzi tub & hot tub. Location was pretty convenient to a good bit of things to do, but give yourself extra time in addition to what maps says, maybe 5-10 extra minutes just to get off the road that it is on. I feel like there should be some info on the road you have to drive down, it is in the mountains, so it is somewhat expected, but it is a very steep and narrow road with blind hills, no lighting, if someone is driving opposite direction at same time, one of you will have to get out of the way, but that may not always be possible. Drive slow, 1st time is the scariest”

“Great place. Very clean and comfortable. Lots to do! We had fun with cornhole, pool, and foosball. There is only one tv in the living room. It would be nice to have some in the bedrooms. Great view, peaceful area, amazing back porch!”

“The back porch is only 20 feet or so from the creek, and the creek is so peaceful sounding. Amazing, peaceful location that we’d definitely come back. Our daughter loved the creek and catching lightening bugs.”

“Great view, good cabin layout and well stocked kitchen. This was our 2nd time at this cabin, but it was under new management this time and there were cleaning and hot tub issues. Did not have issues under prior management. Here are issues encountered issues with our stay (Sun-Fri): Hot tub - Upon arrival, I told the host that the hot tub was not warming (holding only at 67 degrees). The last day of our trip, they said a new part was needed and it would not be fixed during our stay. Management offered a trivial refund, had to escalate to AirBnB to get reasonably resolved. Bathrooms - There were cleaning issues that we notified them about upon arrival. None of the 3 toilets had been cleaned, and there was bowel movement left in one toilet. I personally cleaned all toilets and management did compensate. Towels - A number of the towels had a sour smell, like they had been left in washer for too long. I did not notify management and just rewashed them.”

“Positives: great location. You can walk to town easily. Clean and charming space. Negatives: were given a bad door code that didn’t work. Took a while to get a working number. Bed was hard and uncomfortable. There was no blanket to keep warm at night in the winter, just a very thin decorative coverlet so we draped a layer of towels over the bed to keep warm.”

“High priced for location and amenities. Dog kept coming on the property. Half bath was a joke. Power went out so we had to leave early.”
