Bryce Mountain Escapes

Bryce Mountain Escapes's guest rating of 4.78 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Honestly, I had a terrible experience at this place. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone and won’t be booking a room here again. There were so many checkout tasks, and if you didn’t follow them, you had to pay a cleaning fee. The washrooms were filthy, and they didn’t have any basic amenities like shampoo, conditioner or body wash. The body soap was disgusting, and all the bedsheets and towels were so bad. It’s an old place, and I wouldn’t visit it again. Thanks!”airbnb

“Unit was OK. Quite dark and dated. Dishwasher needs to be replaced.”airbnb

“The Airbnb was very clean and very cute inside. We really enjoyed having a quiet area to decompress after visiting the wineries and attractions of the surrounding area. It was nice to come back and have a place to cook dinner at the end of the night, either enjoying it on the porch by the fire or inside. The only thing that could have been better was the amount of paper towels and hand towels. It just would’ve been more convenient if these things were stocked up, especially with a toddler staying with us. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay.”airbnb

“The cabin and the neighborhood are beautiful. Nothing lacking. One of the best stocked kitchens and most comfortable beds in our Airbnb history. The wrap around porch provided a lot of family time. The ONLY thing is the central air wall unit downstairs is used to cool the whole cabin. We stayed in the summer time so we can’t speak for heating the cabin, but cooling the bedrooms was a challenge as there is no vent system to circulate the air. Thankful for the extra fans provided. Would still stay again in the cooler months.”airbnb

“My friends and I stayed here during our trip to Shenandoah! We enjoyed our stay, we were a bit far from things but still had a great time. The place is not entirely secluded like we thought but still a nice area. The pictures makes the house look bigger than it is but it still held all 6 of us! Additionally the air conditioner filters were dirty and we had some trouble getting them to work. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others!”airbnb

“The only thing I have to say is that there should have been some notice to people they need a 4 wheel drive vehicle to get up the drive way.”airbnb

“If everything would have been as described/as expected, it definitely would have been worth a 5 star review The FIRST message i sent to the host was asking if the hottub was working as i saw a review suggesting they had issues. The host assured me “The hot tub is currently working very well” it infact was broken when i got there. We couldn’t even use it as the temperature was 106 (COMPLETELY unsafe btw) and temp controls ARE broken. We attempted getting in but was boiling and resulted in redness and irritation from the water temp. Maintenance man came quickly but was unable to fix the issue. He told us this is a common problem and suggested we turn it off which resulted in freezing water. Host NEVER followed up. This was my birthday trip and it put a HUGE dent in our experience as the host promised a working tub. There were several other things that did not work like the elec. fire pit. Even for checkout the host never asked how our experience was or even thanked us for coming”airbnb

“The location is great. The house needs maintenance. It felt a bit run down and was also in need of a deep clean. The blinds in one of the rooms was broken. Pot and pans dangerously scratched up old non-stick. It was spacious however, and could be worth the cost if they hired someone to truly clean (not just a quick wipe down) and replaced old/broken items. The company also sent me a separate lease agreement that was not stated in the listing- note that unless they disclose this, you are not obligated to sign. I did not, and was told by the company it was fine, but that felt a bit deceptive.”airbnb
