“This house is awesome! It is true to its word. It sleeps 12, seats 12 for meals, has a wonderful pool and deck seating! Short walk or ride on the golf cart to the beach access and is centrally located! The bathrooms and open floor plan are perfect! Highly recommend this house! Pauline Scott”

“awesome location. it was a nice space for me and my wife. wouldn't have been large enough for anything more than just us. really cozy. the only issue we had was with the Internet. it was a very week signal and if we had to do any sort of work it would not have been good. we used our own hotspots to get the TV to work at night or when it rained. overall it was a great spot, just need to get a better wifi signal. thanks for the hospitality!”

“This house was made for its location. With the exception of 3 of the bedrooms, you can see the ocean everywhere in this house. Walking down the hallways, from the kitchen, from 3 of the bedrooms, and from the living room you have beautiful views of the Atlantic. The deck is great for relaxing with the waves crashing in the background. A few steps later you’re on the beach. Our kids loved the pool and the access to the beach. Great stay! Thank you.”

“3 Stars: Prime Location, Missed Hospitality Opportunities I'm writing this review as someone who has stayed in vacation rentals across various price points and who has also hosted guests in my own Airbnb. I believe in the power of thoughtful hospitality, and I share this feedback hoping it helps future guests set appropriate expectations and helps the owners/management company elevate what could be an excellent property. The Exceptional: The location is genuinely outstanding. Situated on the inlet with easy beach access, we were surrounded by incredible wildlife—birds, oysters, clams, crabs, and abundant seashells. Ocean Isle Beach is a charming town, and being pet-friendly allowed my son to bring his older dog, who contentedly spent her days on the sun porch. For $3,400 over five nights (six adults and a dog), the proximity to the beach was solid value. The Disappointing: The gap between online photos and reality was significant. “We enjoyed our stay at 334 By the Shore. The house definitely met our needs. Even though it's not directly on the beach, we were still able to see the ocean and spot dolphins swimming by. The only feature not available as advertised was the elevator did not work and we did not know until after we arrived. It was not fixable during our stay due to waiting on a part. After our stay was complete, Brunswick did provide a fair refund to make up for it.”

“We enjoyed our stay! The home was beautiful, looked exactly like the pictures. The bedrooms were large. We were able to put our toddler a mattress in our room with plenty of space & our infant pack-n-play with plenty of room. This home is set up perfectly for a large family. The living room & kitchen are spacious with plenty of seating. The outdoor spaces were also perfect for large families. We will definitely stay here again. The only 2 negatives. The outside of the home shows a lot of wear & rust, the decks are old & weathered with rusty nails. We had to be careful barefooted. Also some of the pickets are loose & broken. We were extra careful with our toddler on the porch. It looks like the owner is gradually replacing all the decking & rails with plastic decking & rails. The other is TVs, we could not find correct remotes to work each TV. The home was overall clean, nice, & clutter free. IMO the house keeping service could do a better job on the detailed cleaning.”

“Ocean Isle is beautiful! The beaches were very clean and it is very relaxing. The house overall was pretty good. The views were amazing and there were beach chairs, toys, etc. My only issues: not very clean when we showed up, plumbing maintenance issue not taken care of after correspondence, and showing up at the wrong house and going in (address is 221 and not 211 as listed here). This 3-star review could easily be a 5-star review with those couple issues fixed.”
