“Perfect location and it was pretty quiet! Plenty of parking and the outdoor shower was a plus to rinse off after the beach. Beds were comfy!”

“There was no consideration for our age with broken elevators and lumpy beds! The price we paid for broken elevators and no good sleep! I had to clean the bathroom, hair was everywhere! Why tell you anything you're not going to help! Was it because of who we are?”

“The home is beautiful and as described. It was great for our large group. However we chose this home because it had a pool. The pool did not get serviced by Brunswick Rentals until we called on Wednesday to complain about algae. The pool company showed up and put chemicals in it only- did not vacuum or try to clean the pool. It was not usable. By Thursday the algae was worse. We placed another call to have it taken care of. We were promised a phone call and a good cleaning so the kids could use the pool. We got neither. I sent a message on their app and got no response. Again we chose this home with the extra costs as it had a pool. It is frustrating to have an issue and it get ignored. Thank goodness it was not something like the air conditioner. Overall the home was very nice. Holden Beach itself is a beautiful community for families. Our family will definitely go back but we will stay away from properties managed by Brunswick Rentals.”

“We were very disappointed with our stay. I have never written a negative review before, but I feel it is important to share our experience for future guests. Upon arrival, we were given the wrong entry code and were unable to access the property for about 30 minutes while trying to reach the rental company. The main reason we booked this home was the pool. A few days before departure, debris from a neighboring landscaper's equipment was blown into the pool area, leaving the pool filled with sticks, rocks, and gravel. We reported it immediately and were told it would be addressed promptly, but no one arrived until the following afternoon. Even then, debris remained and the pool was not operating properly. Communication was poor, and the issue was never resolved before checkout. The home also had cleanliness concerns, including dirty floors, leftover trash, carpet stains, black marks on the walls, and deteriorated decking that caused splinters. Overall, the experience was terrible.”

“the home is spacious with a beautiful location. My large extended family had a nice stay and enjoyed the yard and dock very much. The downside is the home features are a bit low quality for the price. Floors cracked and coming apart. Broken microwave. Still enjoyed our vacation but worth noting I was hoping for higher quality for the price I paid. I do appreciate that the rental company is very responsive to my questions and requests the first three days but then inconsistent.”

“Good location. Just needs a good bit of maintenance done. WiFi does not work really. Roof leaked a little when it rained hard. Overall it was an okay place!”

“Good location. Condo was on the 3rd floor so lots of steps. Pool was very small. Bathroom shower curtain reeked of urine. Room looked clean overall with that exception of the shower curtain. Bed was not very comfortable.”

“Ocean Isle is beautiful! The beaches were very clean and it is very relaxing. The house overall was pretty good. The views were amazing and there were beach chairs, toys, etc. My only issues: not very clean when we showed up, plumbing maintenance issue not taken care of after correspondence, and showing up at the wrong house and going in (address is 221 and not 211 as listed here). This 3-star review could easily be a 5-star review with those couple issues fixed.”
