“Great location close to Traverse City but with the charming cottage on the lake vibe. Fun pedalboats , paddle boards, canoe, kayak, game room with pool table, foosball, board games. Also outdoor pool and hot tub. This was a great place for a family weekend.”

“The place was decent , secluded and private from other cabins. Nice running water from creek and sky view off deck. Sheets were dirty on the bed and we had to change ourselves which was inconvenient having to make an entire bed over. The pillows were terrible , for the money you spend here you’d think the bed and pillows would be decent and not dirty. Would feel much better about the stay if it were about half the price we paid per night $430+. Overall decent , but would shop better next time.”

“Very cute cottages, love the whole set up, lots to do on the grounds or close to places to go to and check out .. grounds were well kept up, the only thing I didn’t like was the price we had to pay for cleaning .. we had smallest cottage / studio.. and fee I think was quite steep for cleaning it .. but it will not prevent us from coming back”

“The Lakeview was beautiful and we loved being able to bring our pet. Beds and bedding were comfortable and clean. With the sand around both entrances, it was difficult not to track sand inside, especially since there were not enough rugs outside or inside to wipe your feet.”

“Overall, I’d give this a 3 out of 5 stars. This place is MUCH smaller than the photos indicate, and there was a strong musty/mildew smell throughout the cottage. It lists itself as fit for 7, but 5 adults was the absolute max capacity. Neither of the bedrooms have doors (only curtains) and the second bedroom is connected to the first, so to exit the second you have to go through the first. Overall, not a great place if you want any sort of privacy. From the wear and tear, I’d say the listing photos were taken 15 years ago or enhanced. Generally, not as well kept as the photos show. Many bugs inside, as well (ants, moths). The bathroom was small but sufficient, same with the kitchen. The real upsides to this place were the hot tub and being right on the lake.”
