“We had a lovely stay here, it was so peaceful and calm, just what we needed. The hosts were so helpful and friendly. The cabin was spotless, and it had really beautiful surroundings. Would highly recommend.”

“Absolutely loved this place , beautiful location awesome hosts, so sweet and friendly my kids loved meeting them, the only few things I could say is bring your own toilet paper thankfully we did the toilet paper available is not the most comfortable to wipe with, and the shower curtain i think needs replaced had a funky smell we noticed when showering and bathing the kids , but overall would recommend this place and we would stay here again”

“We were visiting family for two nights and found the Broad Axe cabin to be really nice. The East Fork area is beautiful and the cabin was comfortable, clean and as advertised in the pictures. It is small and better than the pictures show. Beds were comfortable and the shower worked great. The kitchen is small, so major cooking would be somewhat challenging. We enjoyed our stay and David and Rose were pleasant and helpful.”

“We rented the entire property for a professional photography retreat. The scenery is beautiful, and the property managers were responsive throughout our stay. Unfortunately, the condition of the property did not meet expectations. On our first night, guests in Cabin 3 found mouse droppings on the beds, bedding, walls, furniture, and throughout both bedrooms, requiring us to relocate them immediately. Throughout the remainder of the stay, attendees saw live mice inside the main lodge, and we repeatedly found fresh mouse droppings on the kitchen countertops, forcing us to disinfect food preparation areas before meals. We understand rural properties come with wildlife, but active mouse activity inside sleeping quarters and kitchens is a serious sanitation concern. The advertised Wi-Fi was also not reliable enough for our retreat, requiring us to provide our own Starlink internet. Until the pest issues and internet reliability are fully addressed, I would not recommend this property.”

“Wow! Cabin 1 was perfect for our 14-night stay. Such beautiful views of the mountains and meadows - you can see trees from every window. The beds were comfy and well appointed. Kitchen had all the basics - all you need is to bring your groceries (we shopped in Darby and Hamilton). The cabin was spotless and well cared for. The river is close by, so it is nice to hear that - especially at night when the windows are open. There are many trails and forest roads for exploring. David and Rose Ann were such wonderful hosts and made sure we had everything we needed. We would love to stay again for at least a month!”

“This cabin and area were amazing. Great stop on the way south to Idaho and really enjoyed the cabin, the amenities and simple nature of the place. It’s hard to top the Mountain views and quiet area. David was super helpful and all around great to chat with!”
