“For the most part everything was great. Super clean, great and quiet location, and the space overall was awesome. The only things that fell short for me was the refrigerator was not cold enough and there was no other cooking supplies other than salt and pepper, so no cooking oil or other seasonings. Those are very nitpicky things though. Overall very happy with the stay”airbnb

“The house was large enough for our group, check in was easy with clear instructions, and the home was clean and well stocked. There were several maintenance and comfort issues during our stay. The beds and pillows were not very comfortable, the main refrigerator hinge was broken, a smoke detector in the main living room was beeping throughout the stay, and the grill only had 2 working burners out of 5. The property has good potential for large groups, but it could benefit from some updating and repairs.”airbnb

“The place was huge and looking from the outside i was surprised. It was clean and comfortable. I had a few issues with the dryer that was much needed because my kids were in and out of the pool. The second issue was that the pool was not working and we lost 4 days of it. I do understand things can happen as I’m a house owner myself but I kept reaching out about the dryer and someone did come but did not fix it or understood what I was saying. The dryer was getting fix upon departure , so the entire week I was hanging out clothes. I’m am still waiting to see if they will reimburse me in any way but as for now I haven’t heard from them.”airbnb

“Broken garage and patio not cleaned. Had to ask for cleaning supplies in which the team entered our home with no notice or approval. Was not able to park in and out of the garage. No clear answers or communication with management other than “let me check with the grounds crew”.”airbnb

“The location is good and very close to Heavenly Mountain Resort and the casino area. Unfortunately, the stay itself had a serious issue that future guests should be aware of. During our stay, local law enforcement came to the property and informed us that the home is not permitted to operate as a short-term rental. We were questioned about our stay and the property, which was extremely uncomfortable and not something anyone expects to deal with while on vacation. This was never disclosed prior to booking or during check-in, which feels very misleading. Looking back at the pre-check-in communication, it seems clear the host knew the situation but chose to continue renting the property anyway. Guests should not be put in the position of potentially staying somewhere that may not be legally allowed to operate as a short-term rental. Being approached by local authorities and asked questions about rental laws was definitely not on our Lake Tahoe vacation itinerary.”airbnb
