“The Aviator house is an amazing place, brimming with history and beauty. Hector and his team made our stay so easy, providing lots of details and answers to further questions I had. The house is a delightful blend of original (tile, fixtures, oven, windows) and updates which make everything very livable and welcoming. The kitchen is well equipped and the outdoor gas bbq worked splendidly. One can truly feel like a mid-century Hollywood god(dess) lounging on the balcony or swan diving into the pool!”

“We were 11 family members of multiple generations celebrating a big birthday. The house accommodated all of us and had a lot of different hang, play, food prep and relaxation areas. Great layout for the early birds and those who wanted to sleep late. The golf hole was a hit with everyone as was the secret toy closet filled with treasures for the under 6 year old set. We had a chef come to prepare dinner a few of the nights and both he and our crew were impressed with how well equipped the kitchen was. The decor was wonderful. Very California, comfortable, cozy and functional. Beautiful landscaping complete with hummingbirds too. We also loved the location! The walk to town was a perfect distance away so we didn't have to deal with parking and could pop in and out easily! The host could not have been more responsive or helpful! A truly delightful experience for everyone!!!!!”

“The house is beautiful. We visit Palm Springs annually and know local laws well. However, hospitality and privacy fell short of luxury standards. Hostile Communication (1/5): Pre-arrival, we received a message threatening a $700k lawsuit for potential noise violations. Threats of financial ruin before check-in created a highly anxious environment. Disruptions (Value: 2/5): Unannounced workers entered the gates every morning (pool, pest, trash, landscapers). Professional management communicates schedules in advance. Privacy Breach (Accuracy: 2/5): This lack of notice caused a major violation. An unannounced landscaper worked on a ladder directly outside the primary shower. With floor-to-ceiling clear glass and no frosting, the worker had a direct line of sight in while in use. Cleanliness (5/5): Spotless property. Airbnb Support verified these documented issues and facilitated a partial refund.”

“The house is nice and location is great. Unfortunately, the owners are neglecting the property. Here are the issues we had: - one of the showers was not getting hot water - the pool heater can only heat the pool or the hot tub at a time - not both. This was an additional $200/day - the pool water was dirty - caused stains on the pool chairs - many of the power outlets didn’t work - the coffee machine was leaking water as you brewed a cup - the oven door wouldn’t close properly so we couldn’t use it - the bathroom faucets wouldn’t stay on - the dining room chairs had screws loose and it made them lean WAY back - the master bathroom had mold growing along the sink - the master bedside chair had stains on it - paint was chipping along the outside walls - blinds in one of the bathrooms were broken / wouldn’t go up Nothing major and we still enjoyed our time but all this added up to feeling like we WAYYY over-paid.”

“While the property looks good in photos it was beat up on the inside. We had items stolen overnight and despite reaching out a bunch of times we got limited support from the host. The jacuzzi was very hard to work and one of the lights shocked a guest. The tennis court was being painted the entire stay and there were other people on property from early in the morning to evening every single day. Not what it was billed to be and way overpriced.”
