“Upon arriving at the Airbnb, we noticed several areas that needed cleaning and repairs. The kitchen was infested with flies, and the garbage disposal was broken. The sink overflowed, and maggots started coming out of the drain. The host was kind enough to send someone to get rid of the maggots. However, even though other guests’ reviews said the dishwasher wasn’t working, it still had not been fixed. Our check-in instructions did disclose that the dishwasher and garbage disposal were not functioning and we were instructed not to use them. The inside appeared to be superficially clean, but we found heavy dust on the ceiling fans and baseboards, and mold on the shower curtain on the upper floor bathroom. The bath towels appeared to have seen better days and needed to be replaced. The twin beds on the upper floor were comfortable, but the queen bed on the lower floor was sagging in the middle. The location of the property was great.”

“I had a great stay! The place was comfortable and the location was definitely the highlight. Being within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and everything in town made it so convenient. Would absolutely recommend staying here and would happily book again!”

“Great place to stay to access Yosemite. Yes it's a drive, but you get good restaurants, ice cream, coffee shops, grocery store, etc. Shower was really nice after a long day of dusty hiking. Bed was comfortable. Be sure to leave the air conditioner turned on if it's hot outside, there are fans also provided to move air into the bedrooms better. Nice furnishings and newly remodeled, we used the pour-over coffee pot several times!”

“Girlfriends getaway trip to Yosemite! We wanted a place in Mariposa and this place was in a great location. Easy to walk to town! We arrived in the dark. It was difficult to find the downhill driveway. Neighboring addresses are hard to find. It was easy to get in after that. One of the first things we noticed was that the bathroom sink stopper didn't work. It was in the down position, so the sink didn't drain. I contacted Dylan. He requested a video so he could pass it on to maintenance to resolve the issue as quickly as possibly. I inquired about it again the next day. Nomadia said she'd check on it. Still not fixed when we left. The shower pressure was fantastic! Lots of hot water too! Unfortunately there was some mold spots on the shower curtain liner! After dinner and showers, we prepared for bed. One of the beds had soiled sheets, not just a stain, and obviously hadn't been changed! We made due, the damage had been done. No sense in contacting Dylan at this point.”

“The property is not as well kept as expected, specifically the bathroom. Shower curtain is moldy. Bathtub does not drain well, resulting water pooling as you take shower. Towels are dirty with visible marks.”

“Do not stay here in the summer. There is a window AC in the living room but only plug in fans in the rooms that do not cool just circulate hot air. No fan in the restroom. It gets very hot in there. Restroom is dark with yellow light. Wobbly sink and they combined a bunch of stuff in a bottle and called it hand soap. The water does not drain in the tub. Toilet is old and chipped. Towels are VERY old and dirty. We planned to stay here two nights but had to leave a day early and book another place to stay as it was too hot.”

“We had a great time in the Yosemite area overall — the location was quiet and convenient, and check-in was seamless. The host's listing description was accurate, and the place was mostly as pictured. That said, there were some cleanliness issues that impacted the stay: most of the towels were dirty on arrival, we had no clean towels for showering, the dishes needed to be rewashed before use, and there were quite a few ants in the kitchen. We reached out about the towels and were told the host would follow up, but we never heard back. The host was pleasant, and the location itself was lovely, but the cleanliness and lack of follow-through on our message brought down the experience.”

“The house itself was amazing! Great location and lots of really nice touches. The owner, Dylan, was very responsive, but was not as helpful as he was trying to be - often providing some incorrect info (even knowingly in some cases), often causing confusion and stress of my traveling party. It’s for this reason that may stay was only 4 stars. Fantastic house, though.”
