“Let’s put it this way, we didn’t want to leave!!! We are travel writers for a magazine and do this for a living. When we do a review, it’s the honest truth. It was my husband and myself which worked well with the 1 bedroom and the queen bed and then there is another smaller room with a daybed. The house is what you see on the website, however it looked even better in person. A beautiful, quiet location; literally we didn’t hear much of any noise, except the occasional ocean wave crashing and possibly a dog barking. Looking out at the ocean every day and watching brilliant sunsets in the evening was a dream come true. It’s in a perfect location. Close to Jenner up north and to the actual town of Bodega Bay, where you can find restaurants and the Visitor Center; a good place to start if you haven’t been to Bodega Bay. Bodega Bay Escapes and their team are excellent! They respond immediately. It was a great comfort knowing that as many AIRBNB hosts are not available on the property.”

“We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home with its great view of Bodega Bay and the 18th fairway of the golf course. AirBNB was very responsive when the wifi didn’t work & they sent a person to the house to fix it. The home was spotlessly neat and clean, the bed was very comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped and we wished we were going to be staying longer. We hope to return there in the future.”

“We had such a lovely stay! The home was comfortable, peaceful, and a perfect spot for a girls’ weekend. We especially loved being so close to the beach and waking up to the fog and ocean views. The sunset was incredible, lucky to have little fog on Friday night! We also saw a doe and her two fawn grazing right outside the living room. Everything was easy and relaxing, and we’d happily stay again. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!”

They got the basics right: it was spotless; check in/check out was a straightforward; we had all the necessary vacation-home amenities. Yet it was the incredible views of Bodega Bay from the beautifully decorated living room; the tranquility and peace of the property and total privacy of the neighborhood; and easy access to incredible Sonoma county local spots that won us over. “We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The atrium was a very clever and unique setup for our family and quickly became one of our favorite gathering spaces. The home was clean, spacious, comfortable, well stocked, and in excellent condition. It truly felt like a welcoming family home for our vacation. We especially enjoyed keeping the sliders open to the atrium and gathering frequently in the beautifully maintained outdoor area. The kitchen was another favorite gathering spot—it was spacious, well equipped, and had everything we needed to prepare family meals and treats. The location was perfect! We had a beautiful, front-and-center view of the ocean and Pinnacle Rock right outside our windows. We loved having easy access to the cozy beach below, while Doran Beach and the wonderful seafood around Bodega Harbor were just a short drive away. “Beautiful furnishings, fabulous kitchen amenities, bedrooms spread-out for flexibility, lots of towels provided... this house is very comfortable. Grandpa appreciated the bedroom on the main floor to reduce use of stairs. We appreciated the kitchen tools for eating fresh seafood.
