“Pros - Great location, especially if you have a boat. The pool was very nice. The community is quiet and laid back. Cons - The house is very small. Definitely way too small for 6 people. It could use some updating to include new cookware.”

“Venture out RV resort was okay for the price. If we would have had a full-size truck (we have a single cab) we would have never made it into our RV site. The houses and roads are very narrow and the lot is not very wide! Our fifth wheel is 45ft not including the truck- so it’s a tight fit! The view is gorgeous, the neighbors are extremely friendly, the amenities in the facility overall are nice! Our biggest issue was upon check-in venture out resort employees were extremely rude and not at all welcoming. They are very strict about how and where your vehicles are parked. They also made it very clear they are NOT DOG FRIENDLY. They call it dog tolerant and we were told not to walk our dogs outside of our site. Bluescape did reach out to us to apologize as this is something they are frequently hearing- the area is extremely nice and the resort itself will keep you busy. Especially if you enjoy swimming in the canal, however it is not somewhere I would return.”

“I have staying this house twice now and everything is as described but the beds are extremely hard. I think I put this in my last review. if the beds are going to be this hard so they ladt forever, put mattress toppers in the rooms or something. also there is no large pots. that was a little bit of an issue but everything else was nice, clean and plenty of dishes and utensils. easy in and out for boating and in a good location for many things ether side.. Atlantic or gulf”

“Rv area is nice kids liked the pool and lagoon area. Didn’t like that we had to pay $125 resort registration fee on top of the rental price. Also if you bring a boat they are limited with parking space for trailer. Had to park off site. House had everything you need in a kitchen. And bbq was new so that was a plus The place is older, and the ac did not cool well would be the only negative being it’s hot outside and you want a cool place after being in the sun. Lots of ants also, maybe from the outside getting in from windows that don’t seal well. Other than that we had a nice time in the area”

“Overall.....we had a good stay. Probably because we kept busy and were out most of the time. I really do not like leaving negative feedback, however; there was a lot wrong with this place. First....it seems like someone eldery lived here, and passed. The kids took it over and just set it up for air bnb. There was paint peeling in a few spots, broken blinds, toilet wobbled, the blinds on the sliders were difficult to open and close....as were the sliders. There was way too much furniture. They added cabinets any where there was wall space. The pictures do not represent the reality. The bedroom was very small. Difficult to even get in due to cabinets?? Old random stuff in drawers, refrigerator had rusty shelves.....?? Just not really set up for vacation. No clue how they say it can sleep 6??, with one bathroom?? The place does have a great view off the deck. For the money spent to rent....I would look for something better. Sorry for the poor review but it is honesty.”

“The location is honestly the best part of this place. Being right on the water was beautiful and the views were great. But when it comes to dealing with Bluescape Vacation Rentals, it was a very frustrating experience. Just a heads up — if you are looking for any flexibility with check-in or check-out, this is not the place for you. We got there a little early after a long drive and were not even allowed past the gate for almost 3 hours. No effort was made to help or accommodate us; we were simply told to wait. Then on the day of check-out, since our flight was later that evening, we asked if we could have just a little extra time and again the answer was basically no, with no willingness to work with us. It just felt very cold and strict the entire time. Also, there was something in the unit biting us during the stay, like tiny bugs or mosquitoes, which was not pleasant. It’s a shame because the waterfront location is really nice, but customer service and basic hospitality matter.”

“There's a hidden $125 fee, despite AirBNB "all fees included." To see it, under description you have to hit "show more" and scroll down 502 words before they reveal the hidden fee. One toilet was inoperable, and it took them 12 hours to even respond. Great location, iffy management, bad surprise on the hidden fee.”

“Be prepared for many (in my opinion over the top) rules and check in steps. The house and views were great but the check in process had me at the tipping point of cancelling and booking elsewhere”
