“The house has potential, but our stay was marred by maintenance issues and poor host communication. While the size was as described, several features didn’t match the listing. The pool waterfall has been broken for over a year (confirmed by the pool staff), the pool surface is peeling, and the hot tub controls are in poor condition. Inside, the furniture was used; several pool chairs were broken and the bench was dilapidated. We contacted the host immediately. Although the faucet was fixed and the pool cleaned, the House Manager’s promise to replace the broken furniture was never fulfilled. When we requested a partial refund for the diminished value, the host was dismissive. It is disappointing when promises to fix issues aren't kept. I recommend future guests document everything upon arrival.”
