“Beautiful area”

“We loved our stay here! The location was perfect, beautiful surroundings, close to everything we needed. We rented bikes and could easily bike to the pool, lodge, trails, etc., it was awesome. Hot tub at night was great. Overall, great accommodations in an excellent location.”

“This house needs some attention. Carpets are stained and the furniture is uncomfortable. Pictures look better than reality. No hair dryer in the bathrooms although listed in the amenities. We had to ask for a drip coffee pot (pretty basic expectation) since there was only a Keurig. On a positive note, beds were very comfortable. Overall, somewhat disappointing.”

“The place was beautiful. We were in the area for a wedding that took up most of our time so adventuring didn’t really happen but would love to come back to do some of that. The big meadow golf course was really nice though. We found that there was no hair dryer in any of the bathrooms. I really liked that this place was only 5-7 mins from the welcome center area as other properties could be significantly more of a drive to the enterance/ welcome area”

“This house was lovely overall and had everything we needed for our stay. The location was definitely the highlight and was incredibly convenient. That said, there were a few things I wish I had known beforehand. The king bed is actually located in an open loft rather than a private bedroom, which wasn’t clear to me when booking. The bunk bed room also felt a bit makeshift, and the beds themselves didn’t feel especially sturdy. We also found the front driveway difficult to navigate because of the loose, uneven rocks, and I was a little concerned about potentially damaging a tire. Overall, we enjoyed the location, but because of these things, I probably wouldn’t choose to stay here again.”

“Beds were comfortable. This house needs updating. Uncomfortable furniture, some broken. Dirty carpet with stains No outdoor dining table Games etc are a jumbled mess Bare bones amenities Overpriced I’ve been an Airbnb host for 11 years and I’d never rent a property like this.”

“Black Butte Ranch itself is very nice, however for the cost of the rental we hoped it would’ve been cleaner and more functional. It is a pet friendly unit which was immediately apparent based on the amount of fur on all the furniture and pillows. The bathrooms weren’t cleaned very well, with stains or mess left on the counters - we cleaned it easily, but it should’ve been cleaned before we arrived. There was food waste from previous renters left in the kitchen garbage, and of course the ants found it. Finally, it was hot, and while we knew there wasn’t AC, we hoped the ceiling would’ve functioned but it either isn’t wired correctly or is missing its controller.”

“2 bathrooms have no window coverings. Guests do not have garage access, bikes must be left outside. No outdoor garbage can.”

“This is a nice house. Not high end, but clean and ideal if you need four bedrooms. The location of the house is a little jammed in with other houses all around so know that going in. We did enjoy the games at the house, the fireplace and the hot tub. I’d stay here again if I had the exact needs of the house, but I have stayed at nicer places in black butte for the money. The biggest downside is that it is managed by BBR and not a person. The communication was very delayed and not helpful but that is on BBR not the house.”
