“My stay was wonderful. I loved the house. It was fully stocked with a lot of kitchen appliances, linens, and even beach chairs. The location was good. Not far from the airport, my son,'s house, the wedding venue, the beach, and even a luau. It was very neat and clean.”

“Lovely little place for 1-2 people. I am originally from Kona so I knew the area I wanted to stay. Close to Keauhou and grocery shopping one direction and close enough to town the other way. It took me a few minutes to find the unit once on the property but that may be due to the GPS taking me all around the complex.”

“Very conveniently located in Kailua-Kona! Please note it is a 3rd floor walk-up and the apartment is closer to the street so you can hear cars driving through at night. I agree with other reviews that the A/C does not work that well but it works enough especially with the fans going. We liked the convenience of having the in-unit washer/dryer along with the the many towels and beach towels. There was a closet stocked with beach items like chairs, umbrellas, coolers, and a boogie board. Overall, it was a clean apartment and a good value.”

“Fantastic location within walking distance of restaurants and shops. Great views. Air conditioner had a coolant leak so our first night was very warm. Host was responsive in dispatching a tech to fix it but communication could have been better.”

“Fair price for the Airbnb, but expect that they don’t respond you for two days after you booked their Airbnb. Before booking response was pick, after booking nobody responded for our inquiries for two days. Never meet any host change their attitude so quickly once you booked the Airbnb. They also send their checkout instructions 30 minutes after the check out time. Just wanted to say the host team is unorganized and unresponsive. The air conditioning is loud, and bedroom curtains don’t block the sun that much. If you don’t mind the noice or light during sleep, then this is a good place to stay for a few days.”

“Pros: Stylish renovation with new appliances; amazing ocean view and large balcony; great location (2–5 mins to supermarkets/beaches); clean space (worn carpets aside); thoughtful extras like swim rings, beach & bath towels; nice daytime birdsong and nighttime coqui frogs. Cons: Noise: Entrance room is noisy; inner rooms are better. Wi-Fi & Ignored Call: Wrong check-in Wi-Fi info. Our call promised a callback, but we never got a response. Kitchen: Unchecked pantry with expired items. Laundry: No detergent provided; took repeated back-and-forth to get some. Bath Products: 3 bathrooms, but only 1 had shampoo/conditioner for 5 guests. The host had a friendly tone but was extremely slow, taking until our last night to provide empty pump bottles. Shower: Master bathroom hot/cold controls were reversed, causing a stressful first-night meltdown while bathing our kido. It is a pity that a beautifully property is let down by poor management and sluggish responsiveness. Plz improve for future”

“Absolutely beautiful location and home. However, inferior WiFi and unable to use on top floor. Doors are heavy and sticky. Many broken standing fans around home. No AC made stay uncomfortable in the month of July. Ice maker not hooked up. All and all, at the price charged it was a little disappointing.”
