“When we first arrived, we pulled into the driveway and we were immediately greeted by a couple of deer, which was pretty amazing experience, considering they are so small for being full grown. The house was very clean, which is very important to me. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook all our meals. The house has a new boat dock where we kept our rental boat for the duration of our stay. We even fished off the boat dock and caught five sharks, mangrove snappers, and other variety of fish. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.”

“We liked the accommodation; it was within walking distance of the waterfront, the beach, shops, and cafes. However, there were some issues. The bath towels smelled strongly of chlorine yet were far from white—looking rather dingy instead. There was no kettle in the apartment, so we were asked to boil water in a pot, which was extremely inconvenient and posed a real risk of burns or injury. You’d think a kettle would be a standard item in any home. The Wi-Fi didn't work at all; there was a signal, but nothing would load. On top of that, the walls were very thin, and soundproofing was poor—you could practically hear the person next door thinking. The proximity to street bars meant dealing with loud music, and in the morning, there was a local "attraction": roosters! My advice: spend the day out and about, get plenty of fresh air, and just crash when you get back. We left the apartment clean and tidy, but if we visit again with our child, we’ll look for a quieter place.”

“The outdoor lights don’t work,the keypad code didn’t open the door had to use back up key the laundry is shared with a different air bnb so you’re paying for a corner room of a house with a thin separating wall so it’s heard from both rooms and no real fridge one room has a window unit not real ac and the tub kept draining the bathroom has no privacy the toilet was in a closet there were bugs in the tub it was a overall sad it was a great spot all walkable and drivable but they gave broken bikes and the handle bars kept sinking down THE LANDRY ROOM I CANT FIT IN TO WASH anything 6’2 not 7’4 should never have this issue they know the doors bad because they left a note saying the door gets stuck”

“The house is very spacious and has a great layout with plenty of storage and parking for multiple cars and a boat trailer. It’s in a great location that is pretty close to everything you want to explore. If you are bringing a boat, keep in mind that it takes a bit of time to idle out of the channel to open water. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook, including an air fryer, crock pot, blender, and a deep freezer downstairs. They also provided beach towels, and there were some fun outdoor games that the kids really enjoyed. We loved the backyard area, especially the beautiful mango trees, seeing the iguanas all over the yard, and getting to watch the manatees by the dock. Unfortunately, we had no dock lights, the AC went out, and there were several other issues. Better communication from the host would have gone a long way, but we never received a response. They are adding a pool, which will be great, but the lack of response left us in a tough spot.”

“Our experience was extremely disappointing. Shortly after arriving, we were asked to leave the property. We explained that the dog brought by the people helping us unload our luggage would be removed immediately, but we were not given the opportunity to correct the situation. Instead, we were told that the police would be called if we did not leave. We were traveling with our young daughter and had to find alternative accommodations during severe weather. We also documented maintenance concerns with the pool immediately upon arrival, including debris and visible buildup that did not match our expectations from the listing. While I understand that house rules are important, I believe the situation could have been handled with much more professionalism, communication, and compassion. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this property or its management. After paying nearly $11,000 for this stay, our experience was extremely disappointing. Upon arrival pool super dirty”
