“I would not recommend this property. During our stay, there was an active ceiling/roof leak in the living room. The host acknowledged in writing that they were aware of the issue before our arrival but did not have the roofer come before check-in. We were initially told maintenance had inspected it and that there were no safety concerns. Later, the ceiling/roof area collapsed further during our stay, and the host then acknowledged that a safe repair was not possible while the weather was ongoing. This significantly impacted our stay and made us feel unsafe in the property. The issue was not disclosed before check-in, and the response after the collapse did not resolve the seriousness of the situation. Future guests should be aware of this experience before booking.”

“The good: a beautiful house with a great pool that our large group enjoyed for a long weekend. When we had issues, the hosts connected us to maintenance workers. The bad: the fridge did not work the first night which less to stress about food storage, and despite speaking to maintenance workers numerous times we could never get the hot tub to work. Their maintenance worker who came to the home was unprofessional. There were also a few cockroaches (palmetto beetles as they're called) in the home. When we expressed our concerns about the stay the hosts were deflective rather than listening to how our experience was impacted. For a "luxury" property the issues we experienced made it feel not worth the money.”
