Best Texas Travel's guest rating of 4.71 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Pictures didn’t match, there was a extra matress in the pictures which wasnt in the cabin, the AC didnt work well at all it was very hot inside which is why we left a day early, it was cute and the river was amazing but the AC and sleeping arrangement was awful”airbnb

“Do not stay here if you like a clean safe place, this is far from it. The stairs are very unsafe for kids and narrow. They didn’t replace the propane as needed for the grill. Huge red wasp nest was never addressed, floors were absolutely disgusting and found tons of hair. I would not recommend anyone to stay here”airbnb

“We loved the location of our treehouse. We were so close to go float the horseshoe .We brought our dog with us and the fact that we had the small front yard was so convenient. Also loved that we got to park so close and we had our own balcony not connected to anyone else. Loved the privacy. The negative thing would be the beds. One of the beds was comfortable and the rest were hard to get a good nights sleep on. But the sheets were very soft.”airbnb

“The tree house was really well built and beautiful but it and the entire campground has not been well maintained. The pots and pans were rusty, scratched teflon. So terrible I had to get my own to cook in. No papertowels, tin foil, saran wrap. One towel in kitchen. No hot water in kitchen to wash dishes. The front door hinge broke and door could barely open. The fridge stayed between 50-65 all weekend despite maintenance coming three times. In the game room, the foosball table had not ball, the air hockey barely worked and we had to get our own ping pong balls. There were no outside trash cans that we could find. There were limbs and branches all over our balcony when we got there. The hot tub was cold and did not look very clean (although we were able to figure out how to turn it on and it was warm several hours later). I couldn't bring myself to use it but my kids liked it. For the price we paid I was very disappointed. Pictures were not reliable. I really wanted to like this place.”airbnb

“This is a beautiful place. We asked a question from the host and we never heard back but overall a good stay.”airbnb

“Do not recommend. Lots of friendly and helpful options out there, pass this one up. Inflexible and uncaring responses during inclement weather, despite other dates available. Photo shows extra sleeping beds that are inaccurate to true space. Lack of bedding especially during a cold night. Beds extremely uncomfortable. Woke up throughout the night with back pain. Water was low and dirty, despite the owner saying it was decent for swimming. Owner refused option to grant an extra hour for late check out on the morning of daylight savings. Absolutely disappointing. Do not recommend.”airbnb

“While place is amazong for a camping experience, the kitchen lacked utensils. It wasn't maintained well. Also, while they expect you to wash the dishes, there was no dishwasher on the property, so you need to wash all the used utensils by hand. also, the Jacuzzi on the property wasn't maintained well, it had all kinds of dirt on the water when we went to use it.”airbnb

“This “tree house” is not worth the price. The only thing that makes it look nice is the bridge with the tree in the middle, which is clearly just for pictures. Everything else relies on good photo angles. In reality, the place feels run-down, poorly maintained, and not properly cleaned. The listing is misleading about capacity. It claims to fit 8 people, but there is only 1 king bed and 2 queen beds. There is no real pullout couch—just a couch and an uncomfortable, dirty kids’ mattress. Realistically, it fits 6 people, not 8. Two of us had to sleep on the couch and mattress the first night, and we had to remind the host the next day to bring the promised air mattress. Amenities were minimal. Only one mini shampoo, one mini conditioner, and one small soap were provided—nowhere near enough for a group. No sponge was provided despite requiring dishes to be washed before checkout. Overall, this place feels more like a budget motel than a tree house. There are much better options for the ?”airbnb
