“Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The place is super nice and in a great spot with a lot of cool things to do nearby. Check-in was easy and the space itself was comfortable. Our only real issue was that one of the bed sheets had some noticeable stains on it when we got there. If the cleaning gets tightened up a bit, it would easily be a 5-star spot.”

“This quiet neighborhood location just a few blocks off the main street was exactly what were hoping for. Very clean and modern, appliances all newish and appreciated the energy-saving touches throughout and offer to recycle. We enjoyed seeing deer in the backyard and the firepit was a bonus. We had a bit of trouble finding the driveway, since it's in the back and not front of the house. Just go around the corner and you will find the little road.”

“This truly is a gorgeous house that easily accommodated all 12 of us. The house was super clean, provided many game & activity options, had a nice long dining table to fit us, a well-appointed kitchen, and nice size bedrooms. Our only major disappointment is the swimming conditions...the description said we could swim off of our private dock, but you certainly wouldn't want to due to the amount of seaweed and lily pads that surrounded it. It was clear around 10 ft beyond the end of the dock. While we appreciated the ample supply of paper products & firewood, we could have used a few more bath towels. Other than that, we enjoyed this house and had a great time on our vacation. Thank you for having us!”

“We checked in on Saturday. I sent a message to the host on Thursday asking about check in time. No response. Sent a message on Saturday at 2pm because there was a gate code to enter the parking lot that wasn’t provided. No response. Sent another message at 7pm because I was getting groceries delivered and needed the gate code. No response. On Sunday morning - the day AFTER I was supposed to check in I received a text message with 4 numbers, no explanation. The swimming pool was very green all week. The last day they ended up closing the pool and we were unable to use it. The place was very clean and comfortable to stay at. The host helped in the last day with the pool situation and was able to find us somewhere else to go. The biggest issue for us was the lack of communication.”

“The location was great. Cleanliness was not great, dirt and trash left under the beds from previous renters. Bedding left in washer and not dried. Dishes left in dishwasher. The back porch was extremely dirty and needs a power washing.”

“This was one of the nicest, cleanest, well-stocked rentals I have stayed at so far. However, beware if there is a power outage, which apparently happens often, because the water is supplied by a pump, in which case you don't have water if you lose electricity. We were without water twice; first time for 6 hours, second time for 14 hours with no options for another bathroom facility. Once power was restored, we were under a boil water advisory and the water was not going to be tested for another 4 days. We left two days early and were not offered any sort of reimbursement.”

“The pictures falsely advertised that the house was on the lake initially. Then after our booking they changed the pictures. Then they said that the beach was within walking distance. You don’t want to walk it. The traffic moved way too fast to be safe. They said That there were walking paths. They mean just on their land. They said that there were beach towels and extra linens. None of this was accurate. The bunk beds smelled of urine. And one of my guests had to double up and the other slept on the couch. Never sent the access code to get in. We had to call them to access. Overall not worth it for the money that was spent. Would not recommend.”
