“The location is perfect and rental was clean despite the dishwasher being full when we arrived. I was disappointed during our stay because we were excited to ride the bikes into town and 2/3 were unridable. They told us to reach out if we needed anything, so I reached out to see if they had any tools/wrench so we could attempt to tighten the seat on the one bike and they said “I am sorry, not sure if there are any tools there.” So that felt pretty unhelpful. Also, the tree that hangs over the driveway needs to be cut back. The branches badly scraped the top of my husband’s truck!!! Overall I feel like we overpaid for this property and hosts need to be a bit more on top of things.”

“Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The place is super nice and in a great spot with a lot of cool things to do nearby. Check-in was easy and the space itself was comfortable. Our only real issue was that one of the bed sheets had some noticeable stains on it when we got there. If the cleaning gets tightened up a bit, it would easily be a 5-star spot.”

“This quiet neighborhood location just a few blocks off the main street was exactly what were hoping for. Very clean and modern, appliances all newish and appreciated the energy-saving touches throughout and offer to recycle. We enjoyed seeing deer in the backyard and the firepit was a bonus. We had a bit of trouble finding the driveway, since it's in the back and not front of the house. Just go around the corner and you will find the little road.”

“We checked in on Saturday. I sent a message to the host on Thursday asking about check in time. No response. Sent a message on Saturday at 2pm because there was a gate code to enter the parking lot that wasn’t provided. No response. Sent another message at 7pm because I was getting groceries delivered and needed the gate code. No response. On Sunday morning - the day AFTER I was supposed to check in I received a text message with 4 numbers, no explanation. The swimming pool was very green all week. The last day they ended up closing the pool and we were unable to use it. The place was very clean and comfortable to stay at. The host helped in the last day with the pool situation and was able to find us somewhere else to go. The biggest issue for us was the lack of communication.”

“The location was great. Cleanliness was not great, dirt and trash left under the beds from previous renters. Bedding left in washer and not dried. Dishes left in dishwasher. The back porch was extremely dirty and needs a power washing.”

“This was one of the nicest, cleanest, well-stocked rentals I have stayed at so far. However, beware if there is a power outage, which apparently happens often, because the water is supplied by a pump, in which case you don't have water if you lose electricity. We were without water twice; first time for 6 hours, second time for 14 hours with no options for another bathroom facility. Once power was restored, we were under a boil water advisory and the water was not going to be tested for another 4 days. We left two days early and were not offered any sort of reimbursement.”
