Great location but place is a bit tired, not cleaned well, needs new shower curtain, moldy, screened in porch very dirty, holes in screen could not sit out there with the bugs, linens and beds cleaned and comfy, furniture in living room old and couch did not seem all that clean

The house accommodated our group well and we strictly followed the six-guest limit. However, because we all drove separately, the neighbor reported our six parked cars to the host. This made us feel heavily monitored and uncomfortable spending time outside. The host passed along the complaint but never followed up after we explained. We left feeling unwelcome in the neighborhood.

Our room itself was very nice and clean, looking just like the photos. Walls seemed very thin as we would hear any cough, sneeze, or videos playing in our neighbors room. Location was great to the main shopping area but with that came a huge noise issue. Local live music played until 2:00am making sleep pretty much nonexistent.

The location is great and the place was overall nice, though a few things need attention to improve the stay for future guests. The air conditioning in half of the house (where 2 bedrooms and the main area are) doesn’t function well and that part of the house runs very hot (and uncomfortable) when it is hot and/or humid outside. Additionally, this house sleeps many guests. The items provided (e.g., 2 dishwasher pods, 2 laundry pods, 2 paper towel rolls, to name a few) were not sufficient for a multi night stay for a guest count of 9, which is just not acceptable for the price paid. We ran out of these items in day 1. Finally, our place was not ready at the stated time. While we were given a late checkout as a result of that inconvenience, on the departure date the cleaners arrived before the time offered to get out of the house by. This was also very frustrating.

Great location, house was very pretty. Here are a few things that could’ve been better. The kitchen has a slope that made me trip every time I walked in. Also, the back patio door only opened about 12 inches. We had to squeeze in and out. Back patio was dusty and dirty. They came over to blow and said they’d wash down the pavers the next day, but they didn’t come. They must have also changed the door code at 9 am the day of checkout. Good thing one person stayed home to let us back in.

Great location for walking to town. AC worked great, which was essential for our hot and humid weekend. Top floor has a door between rooms to allow some privacy, creating 3 separate sleeping spaces within the house. A hot tub was listed when initially booked. This was removed from the property and we were not notified, which was frustrating.

There was dog pee on the bed frame that we had to clean up. There was a dog toy under the bed. We had to clean up cob webs by the sliding glass door. The couch smelled like dog pee. We couldn' t use it. I asked for a partial refund/discount and have been ignored.

The house itself is pretty nice. The kitchen is awesome with a big counter, large bar space, and 2 ovens. Could be useful to have a 2nd fridge but one was fine for us. Lots of outdoor space that is relatively private and the fire pit was nice to have. Basement pool table is fun and plenty of space for everyone to relax. Downside is when we got to the house there was a sign on the dishwasher that it wasn't working. We were not notified ahead of time so we had to go get paper plates and utensils. The biggest issue was the hot water was virtually non-existent. The first morning everyone said they had issues getting hot water and couldn't keep it warm even. We notified the company and they sent someone who restarted the water heater but the last morning it was barely warm still. That doesn't work well for a large group and not having a dishwasher makes it impossible to wash dishes or pans when you have barely warm water. Listing agency communicated fairly well but hot water was a problem

Had to leave a day early to a death in the family and there was no communication back when I messaged them that we were leaving early due to that. Also I did message about the missing hot tub and there was no response. The upstairs handrail was loose also.

The house was a beautiful place to have my cousins bachelorette party! 7 of us stayed at the house and we had plenty of room! We seen multiple deer and being surrounded by woods but near the lake was beautiful. I will say, we did come across an unfortunate issue where the water at the house smelled like sulfur - a very rotten egg smell, for the majority of our trip. The hosts didn’t handle it or communicate the issue as well as I would hoped, so it did suck that every time we ran water it smelled like rotten eggs and it lingered in the air for quite a while. Besides that, the house itself and newness of the home was great.
