Manager Review

Beaver Creek West Condominiums

Beaver Creek West Condominiums's guest rating of 4.74 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Location is excellent for activities around Avon. The place is a bit dated but had everything we needed for a good weekend.”

“Great unit, comfy bed and nice kitchen with all the dishes and tools. Very convenient. Master bath is tight but useable. This property is very close to a public pond that is great for family. Great walking trails all around the property. Only negative is the lack of A/C.”

“Loved the proximity to the lake and the pool was a bonus! There were a few things that could be updated but overall, we enjoyed our stay.”

“Highly disappointing stay. "Remodeled" unit has shoddy, outdated carpet/furniture, dark walkways, no A/C (not clear in the description), and maintenance was called twice for a running toilet. The major issue was safety. During a regional power outage, the manager abandoned the property just an hour after the outage, with no emergency plan in place. A guest in our party relies on an oxygen concentrator, so staying without power was not an option. The manager wouldn’t help find alternate lodging or agree to a refund. We lost our cold food, carried everything down ourselves from the 4th floor (elevator was out), and paid for a room in another town. The manager refused a refund for the unused night, stating the outage wasn't their fault and citing her own medical issues. While the outage wasn't their fault (it wasn’t ours either), she is fully responsible for her lack of leadership, abandonment of guests, and flippant attitude in this unfortunate circumstance. Avoid this entire complex.”

“The place is up some very steep stairs, 23 to be exact and then 4 steps back down into the condo, just something that isn’t clear in the description. These stairs are scary in ski boots, even as an experience skiers all three of my party were pretty nervous. The kitchen is nicely done and didn’t lack anything we needed for cooking. However the 90s called and asked for their technology back. Surround sound stereo wasn’t connected to tv and all of the speakers stacked next to each other. VCR was novel as was the DVD, interesting to look at and remember the old days, but not having a simple smart TV that would allow streaming is pretty poor, $200 TV at Walmart would at least bring those options. Also, even though it says it in the listing they don’t provide shampoo and conditioner, we don’t need the little mini bottles but it feels pretty bad when cheap motels provide something Overall for the price of this listing it fell way short. Would not recommend to friends and family”

“I really don’t like writing negative reviews, but I feel I should share what happened. During our stay, my brother and I were bitten by bed bugs in one of the bedrooms. It was honestly very upsetting and annoying. We messaged the host right away because this felt like something that needed urgent attention. When we did get a response, it felt very casual just a quick apology and a “thanks for letting me know.” Given the situation, we expected a little more urgency and concern. I understand that issues can happen anywhere, but better communication and a more serious response would have made a big difference.”
