“Overall, the location was really nice and we enjoyed being in the Bear Valley area. However, we were disappointed with the cleanliness of the home, especially considering the price. The house was quite dusty and didn’t feel like it had been thoroughly cleaned recently. There was a significant amount of dust underneath the couches, and we even found a used sock underneath one of them. The home itself and the location have a lot of potential, but for the amount we paid, we expected a much higher standard of cleanliness. Unfortunately, based on the condition of the home during our stay, we didn’t feel it was worth the price. In a positive note the views from the balcony are incredible the house had plenty of hardware games and things to do and the host was very easy to reach.”

“Great stay overall. The location is the standout. It’s essentially next to Bear Valley, and there’s even a bus or shuttle to the resort, which is a huge plus on crowded days when parking is difficult. Another surprise benefit is that, this area has a couple of places to eat and a small grocery market that covers the essentials like food, water, and last-minute needs. It was also quiet and very convenient. Minor note: one set of bed blankets had some stains, but the sheets very super clean and home was very clean overall.”

“This property was materially misrepresented due to multiple known, pre-existing maintenance issues that were not disclosed. We stayed during winter with snowmobile-only access, but we were not informed that trash disposal requires ~20-minute walk on snow-covered roads to off-site bins. This is not reasonable or safe under winter conditions and was not stated in the listing. The home had numerous obvious and documented issues, many clearly labeled as broken: The master bedroom wood stove, advertised as an amenity, wasn't working and we were instructed by the cleaning staff (was there at check-in) not to use it, leaving the room very cold. Tub jets labeled “out of order”. Shower door warning about coming off its track. Multiple broken kitchen drawers. Shaky nightstand missing a leg. Broken and missing tiles in bathroom. These were clearly known issues, not problems that arose during the stay, despite property management denying awareness. We would not stay here again.”
