“This is a good place with everything you need to stay on vacation. Great rooms, good spaces. Easy to go to the lake if you want walking. The pools and hot tubs best options for kids and adults, and really god to take a time from the lake.”airbnb

“This place was perfect for our family. The sheets and towels smelled clean and fresh. The kitchen was so well stocked, it even had things we weren’t expecting but made it so convenient. The lake is right across the road. The gym and pools were clean and well maintained. There are 24 stairs between the first floor and second floor which felt intimidating when I read the reviews about it but our lifestyle is not very sedentary and they were not an issue at all. Definitely easier than I expected. We walked into town every night. Took about 15-20 minutes and there was a pleasant walking path the whole way. The pickleball court was super close and also well maintained. Loved that there was laundry soap so we could go home with clean clothes and wash our beach towels. Will definitely be back!”airbnb

“The good: the location is excellent. It’s a short walking distance to a private pool, splash pad, pickle ball court, and beach. It’s also a short 0.4 mile drive to downtown garden city for rasberry shakes, food, and shopping. Why we have it 4 stars instead of 5: 1. Poorly and cheaply stocked. This was the lightest stocked Airbnb listing we’ve ever stayed in. As a few example: There are no beach towels. No hangers in the closet. Pillows from the dollar store. Very little shampoo. The dishes all felt like they were purchased at a dollar store. The dishwasher didn’t clean well and didn’t dry at all. Paper towels and toilet paper were the lowest quality you can possibly purchase, etc 2. Cooling system during hot summers. It was hard to cool the upstairs to a sleepable temperature during the hot days, as the cold air all runs to the bottom floor (which gets freezing)”airbnb

“This place is in a great location, however, it was very clearly remodeled in an extremely bizarre way. There is a two story flight of stairs between the upstairs living, kitchen, and master to the downstairs two bedrooms. The living room is tiny, no dining table, and is not fun to unload supplies up the huge staircase to. There is a really strange “room” that was finished that is completely inaccessible to the rest of the house. Not sure why that is there. The beds were not comfortable at all, and hair was on one of the sheets. The AC/Heat Nest is upstairs and due to the lack of zoning and the two story flight difference the upstairs is hot while the downstairs is insanely cold. There was no way to regulate the two at all.”airbnb
