“Good views”

“The location was further out of town than I expected, and the layout seemed smaller than I expected as well, but my main issue was that the cabin was not clean. Upon arriving, I noticed the floor level windows were very dirty as well as the interior windowsills and stair banister. The living room rug was heavily stained. There were large chocolate flakes on the nightstand in the master bedroom from a previous guest. There were long black hairs in the bathtub. One of the throw blankets had a cluster of fake eyelashes stuck to it. Overall, this cabin did not feel clean and the things I could see made me wonder what was left that I couldn’t see. I would be very surprised if this cabin is being cleaned by a professional cleaning crew. Also, the downstairs bedroom does not have curtains. Lastly, on the final night, the air conditioner would not cool below 75 but I didn’t realize this until late so we just dealt with it which made for an uncomfortable night. The host was responsive and kind”

“It was a wonderful experience for our first anniversary. The view and the seclusion is unbeatable. Very peaceful with the surrounding nature. Worth the drive every day into hochatown (30 min). And the host was great, incredibly clear and responsive.”

“Deborah was a wonderful host! She was very responsive and accommodating for mine and my wife's time in her cabin. She also provided a map for a hike to the lake which was beautiful! The cabin itself was perfect, the views are breathtaking from every room. We loved waking up to the sunrise. My wife and I enjoyed making smores in the pit, using the grill to make burgers and hotdogs and just relaxing with the view. It was the perfect weekend getaway. The hike is worth doing! My wife is 19 weeks pregnant and was able to do it with taking some breaks hiking back up. We completed about 6 miles going to and back, but we did take a wrong turn on the way back so that added about a mile. It took us about 4 hours total with spending some time at the lake. We did see several people take ATV's down to the lake so that seems like an option too! Overall it was a prefect time and we would love to come back!”

“Our family greatly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. So much so that we decided to extend our stay for another night. The space was perfect for our family of four. We really enjoyed the outside space as well: fire pit, creek, woods… the kids loved exploring all of it. We were very comfortable at the house and Deborah was very responsive when needed. We enjoyed the train depot with the kids, fishing in Beavers Bend and Mountain Fork Brewery just 10 minutes down the road. Overall we would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this cabin!”

“Absolutely loved this place! It’s so peaceful and beautiful. At night you can see the sky full of stars and the sunrise is to die for! If you stay on the second floor you can see it from your bed! Deborah was an amazing host! She was responsive and very kind! We need more host like her💪🏽”
