Beachwalk Vacation Rentals

Beachwalk Vacation Rentals's guest rating of 4.78 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

we started with extended family: 8 adults and 2 kids. the upstairs main bedroom was perfect for the family of 4 with the additional twin bed room. and the two kitchens, family rooms, and 4 bathrooms each have is our own space. that was wonderful. close walk to the beach, 20 minutes to town was nice. (the highest does have a safe sidewalk to walk) we did really wish there was a kitchen table in the downstairs space for a place to eat/play games after the little ones went to bed. we brought our own, and that was a hassle.

Vacation rental managed property, so zero consumables on site (laundry soap, kcups, ground coffee, etc). This is our sixth airbnb in the immediate area (we are a family of 8 and understand near beach housing) and this one was the motel 6 of airbnbs. Left behind giant box trash filled and partially blocked the driveway (not from previous guests, from a newly built fire pit). Not all doors inside the house actually close, and most are simply cut out of board/wall so they don't line up right with huge gaps. A/C on it's last leg, couldn't get the house below 76. Ants in the kitchen and living room (bait set out for them). Stairs to the basement from within the house are inside of a (tiny) bathroom and absolutely treacherous. Front room leaked (in a massive storm to be fair but still). The main problem with this house is mostly upkeep and maintenance more than management, company managed have the least warmth and we try to avoid them. Most surfaces in need of general repair.

We loved staying at the sandlot. It was beautifully decorated, clean, and gave our family both indoor and outdoor spaces to enjoy our family reunion. We were also there during a big storm with tornado sirens going off in the area and the basement allowed us to feel safe and secure.

This house was beautiful! Lots of space for everyone to sleep, plenty of living space to relax and spend time together. The views were spectacular! It is a close walk to the beach. The kitchen is spacious and made dinner prep convenient. Not a negative, just a heads up to bring your own shampoo, conditioner, and blow dryer. Luckily I tend to over prepare and brought toiletries for everyone. There were plenty of towels, blankets, and pillows. Laundry was available, as well as a dish washer. Phone service is spotty in the area and wifi isn't strong enough to reach the whole house, if you need to be connected (personally, added to the peace of the vacation to be forced to be disconnected).

Location was perfect, lots of space and quick walk to the beach . The kitchen is amazing. This place needs lots of care. Peeling paint, broken screens on windows, broken back patio table, broken firepit. Very little beach amenities like chairs, beach toys, etc.

Our family has been staying at Beachwalk for over 25 years. This year we stayed at the Cozy Corner house. We absolutely loved the four season room because it gave our grandkids a place to play and the entire family to gather. The front porch swing was also a favorite. With the park across the road and the pool right down the road, it was very convenient for the whole family. The house was very comfortable for all ages.

Overall was a great place to stay! We had 4 families and the house had plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for all of us. The kitchen was stocked nicely. The resort amenities were a big plus and houses close location to both the amenities AND beach were great. The only negative was the house could use a little better dusting & floor mopping… but overall it was clean. Had everything we needed and would stay here again!

Unfortunately, the house fell short of my expectations in terms of cleanliness. The Director of Housing mentioned that they conduct thorough walkthroughs of the home to ensure that everything is in order. However, we were unable to use the pots and pans because they were left dirty. The sink dish tray was also dirty and had rusted spots, the refrigerator shelves were also dirty, the drawer where you place the silverware cooking spoons was equally dirty. If the items that were visible to the naked eye were not cleaned, I can only imagine the state of the rest of the house, including the towels and linens. I’m glad you’re gonna be there for a day and a half. Check out time was way before 9 am instead of waiting until 10 am. I enjoyed the area, but I will not be renting this house again.

Few things - filter on the fridge needed replacement so it made a beeping noise the whole time - mold in the ice machine so we had to buy ice - fireplace didn’t work - overall very pretty home, great view and nice to be located right next to the overflow lot
