“We had a great time here at Folly Beach. The house was great, clean and comfortable. Loved the privacy and location, proximity to beach. we had a marvelous week.”

“The home was beautiful, nicely furnished and comfortable. Everyone enjoyed the swimming pool and the billiard table. Beach area was never crowded. Lots of great restaurants in the area. Great screen porch to catch ocean breeze. We had 10 adults and 5 children 8 to 13. Never felt crowded with plenty of room for everyone. Parking for 8 vehicles was a plus too. I would highly recommend this home.”

“The location was great, but our stay was significantly impacted by a major issue with the property. Late at night, we discovered the front door could not be properly secured due to a lock malfunction, leaving us unable to lock the home. Instead of relaxing and enjoying our vacation, we spent part of the evening dealing with a security issue that should have been addressed before guests arrived. To be fair, management did eventually offer compensation after the stay that approximately covered the affected night, and I appreciate that acknowledgment. However, compensation after the fact does not undo the inconvenience, stress, and disruption caused during the trip itself. We also encountered maintenance and quality-control concerns, including an inadequate privacy covering for a bedroom window directly above the bed. While the location is appealing, our experience left us disappointed in the property’s upkeep and overall guest experience.”

“Everything was as described. It looked like the pictures. looks like they just updated it - fresh paint nice and clean and well cared for. location was perfect right on the beach. My only complaint and it may not matter to anyone else is that the cleaning people sprayed a room freshener that lasted 2 days even with doors open to air it out. It was very strong and gave me a headache, had hard time sleeping the first night. I would suggest not spraying fresheners for people that are sensitive to smells. otherwise very nice place.”

“Was an easy walk to the beach. We were able to leave the beach and enjoy lunch in the AC back at the place then return to the beach without taking everything back and forth. Was a comfortable stay for my family of 6 people. Not much to do on the island without driving alittle ways away but if you are there for just the beach, its perfect.”

“This apartment was not suitable for people to be staying in as evidenced by the black mold in the shower. My husband and daughter became sick during our visit pillows on the bed had visible mold when we checked in the back deck screen was completely off because of rotting, and there was nail sticking out of it, which was dangerous. The front door had pieces of wood falling off of it as we entered I requested a refund or at least partial refund from the real estate company which they offered $100. I let them know that $100 is not sufficient for a condo that was unfit for visitors as it relates to health concerns.”

“The house is amazing! Super clean and in a great location. For the money we spent for a house with a pool, I would have expected that pool towels would be provided. Also, there were a lot of rules, which I understand wanting to protect your property, but it also made us feel like we were walking on eggshells. All in all though we had a great family vacation and the house was perfect!”

“Visit was great, however we were not aware of the new construction happening next door. We had a short walk to the beach because of a renurishment program that had not started as yet.”

“We had a great stay. The linens and towels were clean as was the rest of the house. The grill was functioning, clean and had enough propane. The ping-pong table was also a hit. The location was very convenient to the beach and the pool was clean and enjoyable. There was plenty of space for our crew and the en-suite bathrooms were spacious and pristine. As in other reviews, most of the furniture is tired and there is still some work to do with the bed situations. We reported several missing light bulbs and burnt out lights that were not addressed during our stay; the lack of lighting in the entry stairs was concerning as it was very dark at night. Proximity to bars with loud noise well into the night wasn’t appreciated by some of our guests. But overall, the positives outweighed any inconveniences and we enjoyed our stay.”
