“Overall it wasn’t bad but wasn’t amazing. All beds were old and very worn. Horrible sleep every night including my kids not sleeping the best either. Not children accommodating. There was the bare minimum in the condo. No beach chairs or umbrellas. No board games. The view was nice but doesn’t situate where the sun rises so you have to go out to the beach to watch. The people upstairs were very noisy in all hours of the night. Heard stomping and feet patter which was very annoying. It was clean and tidy but the floors were still dirty when walking barefoot. Check in was nice bc they allowed us to check in about an hour early which was nice bc we had a long flight and the kids were exhausted and needed to settle in. It was not worth what we paid to stay for 7 days in my opinion but it was convenient that it was close to where our friends were staying so we could all be close together. I did like the two car garage. One for the car and one for the golf cart”

“The property has a central fan as opposed to the traditional HVAC system. What this means is that air profusely blows out of all the vents in regular intervals at all times of the day/night. Not only is it loud, but it means dust and allergens are regularly lifted up into the air. As a result, we did not enjoy our trip because I was sick with allergies the whole time. The bedroom A-frame roof is cute in pictures but practically speaking means you either have to bend all the time you’re on that side of the room or you risk hitting your head. The host responded quickly, but that’s because half of their responses were generated by a chatbot that pretended to be the host. The address given is missing an apartment number but the Chatbot came in handy for that. The Airbnb listing, the secondary property website, and the literature inside the house all contain contradictory information about checkout instructions and cleaning fees.”

“The place was nice but our host ruined our experience. He was unprofessional when we voiced a concern. Accused me of trying to scheme him out of money. When I never mention money. Hopefully, you don’t have any concerns because he will accuse you of wanting a discount because that’s what everyone does.”

“Well unit was rented to me 3h before check in time….i paid went thru all paperwork got code to the unit but upon arrival unit was not ready!!! dirty towels bedsheets etc and host cancelled on us…….very disappointing”

“With children not being able to use the pools or splash pads or any other amenities was a major bummer and considering the price we paid, we really wanted that experience The place was super clean besides having to kill a cockroach and the community is beautiful, but you just can’t enjoy none of the beautiful because it’s not allowed.”

“Overall, the stay was wonderful! We didn’t have to move our car if we didn’t want to. Most everything was in walking distance. The beach was right across the street and easy to access. 3 blocks over was the Main Street with several restaurant options. My only disappointment was in the small details. There was a rather large piece of something stuck in the vent above my bed and I felt like I had particles falling on my face so I had to shut the vent. In the listing, there was a picture of a TV in the room and it had been removed. And neither of the bathrooms looked like they had been cleaned, or else didn’t do a good job because they still had sand in them from previous tenants. Also, I’m not sure if it was something in the ceiling or if there was a small animal there somewhere, but there was, what looked like, droppings on the chair. It started out as a small amount but then grew and eventually was all over the floor. Overall, it was good, just needs more attention to small details.”

“Hot tub both times we got in it was filthy. 1st time a dirty tampon was floating. 2nd time hair and snot from kids jumping in and out of it floating. A lady sitting in hot tub smoking cigarettes flicking ashes in hot tub. We did not feel comfortable at all with our kids at the condo. The neighbors and people that were staying when we were made us feel very uncomfortable. I feel there needs to be staff on premises at all times. Also the main door frame should be fixed better. We could tell the door has been kicked in or broke into a few times. Also made us feel very unsafe. If I knew I would have been able to get a refund we would have left right away.”
